The first 7 days of Lumencrafts Early Access passed
Once again: thank you very much. We believe that most of you enjoy Lumencraft. We know that our game is getting better every day. There is other important news that needs to be shared. Today (April 20) marks the start of the Earth Appreciation Festival on Steam. To quote its description: the idea behind the event is to raise awareness of issues related to World Earth Day (April 22, 2022) such as pollution, overpopulation, rapid climate change, conflicts, and lack of sustainability. We're including games that show the Earth after things went bad (think: post-apocalyptic games) but also titles that remind the player that our planet is worth preserving (nature-focused games etc.)."

We hope that the situations you encounter in the game will always be just a piece of science-fiction. Everyone working on Lumencraft wishes our planet all the best well try to make it a place worth living repeatedly.

The results we achieved during this period exceeded our expectations. Firstly, we see how the games community grows on Discord and thats enormously satisfying. Secondly, we reached some of the milestones earlier than we expected. As 2Dynamic Games and Star Drifters, we would like to thank all of you for the trust you put in us. Cheers to that!

Its hard to believe that we reached the 20 000 copies milestone in less than a week.

Lumencraft is a top-down action shooter with tower defense elements. Emerge into a fully destructible environment where light and shadow play key roles. Build your base, dig some tunnels and find lumen - humanity's only chance for survival.
BECOME SAVIOUR OF MANKIND
The year 2221: More than two centuries ago, the surface of the planet became uninhabitable. The remnants of humanity struggle to survive without electricity and light. Dreams of a better future died long ago, but a recently discovered mineral has brought a spark of hope. Lumen, a crystal with high energy potency, may be the last chance for a struggling civilization. Scouts, brave miners, have been sent underground to a settlement near the Lumen deposits. New scouts continue to join this mission, but so far, no one has returned. It seems that the darkness of the underground holds more than just natural riches...
DRILL YOUR WAY TO VICTORY
Fight for your survival. Enemies are going to raid your base so be careful and leave some turrets on the watch.

With a lot of effort and a set of original algorithms, 2Dynamic Games have transformed the open-source Godot Engine into a completely new tool. This allows every bit of terrain (pixel, as we used to call them) to be destroyed, and maps can be painted as if in a drawing program. What’s more?
