Remember or not remember that super cringy first three chapters? Well the writing has been updated, a bunch of bugs fixed. We also discovered that a lot of bugs came from resolution problem, which is easy to understand on one hand, but on the other, hard to fix. If you are stuck in the beginning, try adjusting the resolution before you start the game! Sorry for the inconvenience, we've tried many things and it didn't work. Hopefully this will pacify everyone until our announcement for NEN 2.0 comes out :] Follow us on Twitter or Facebook to get more information on it! Click R, Control R, or Command R accordingly to your OS, during the title page. Then, restart the client*** Known Bugs: Intro tutorial might screw up for certain screen size resolution. If that is the problem, change the resolution higher to accommodate. (So you know the game didn't crash.) -Fixed dialogue in Chapter 0, 4, 5, 8, 14, 15 -Fixed Chapter 14 falling through lower castle. (Down down and away!) -Fixed Chapter 10 decision bug (Some people thought this was the end. We had so much more than just showing you an ambiguous dragon! There are 14 chapters in total.) -Fixed ending so you can actually see one of the 4 endings. May require a restart of the game to take effect. Sorrryyy (Control D or Command D at the title screen.) -Fixed the credit scene so it accurately reflects the ending type (Again, there are multiple endings :D) -Removed floating particles in floating island (It used to be a thing where everything you picked up turned small.) -Removed Chapter 8 beginning overall light (Too bright. We've fixed a bunch of bugs! Here are the specific changes: Version 1.1 10/5/2015 -Fixed Chapter 3 Saw blade Sound (Thank god. My ear drums were bursting.) -Fixed running through flying boss fight (We blocked it off. At least, if you do for some reason pass through it, it will re-spawn.) -Fixed ship not moving on certain machines (This problem only appeared on 1 user's computer. So we tried our very best to fix it.) -Fixed floating catacomb drop from the left haha -Fixed Platform moving after re-spawn (Don't try this at home. But sometimes after re-spawning, moving platforms start ghosting around.) -Fixed Tutorial rock flying around, thereby trapping people in the FIRST 10 SECONDS OF THE GAME (So sad.) -Took out restart scene from Chapter 0 (Cause it screws up T-T) -Took out sword from map 3 (It was very annoying 'cause it kept blocking player's way.) -Added Restart Chapter Button (Click escape to restart chapter. You know. For bugs that we didn't find.) -Added a check point in Chapter 5. So you don't have to start ALLL the way over. Many problems reported are computer specific, but we tried to solve it from as much as possible. There will still be bugs, but that is why we are still here :] -Swineboss

What is Never Ending Night?
You can say that Never Ending Night is a 2D side-scrolling exploration game. But that'd be akin to describing a tree as a big stick. Never Ending Night is a game that we poured our heart and soul into. It is a game that evolved as much as we evolved as individuals. It is a game about relationships, about finding yourself, and about confronting your past.
As Cain, you traverse through a broken world and survive through the mechanical monstrosities that have managed to survive in this strange microcosm... But don't worry, cue in MLBY, a strange mechanical butterfly sidekick, and you'll be ready to illuminate your way past beauty, perils, and adventure. By interacting with objects and the environment you can overcome your enemies as you piece together the remnants of the past. Lanterns will mark your progress through the eerie darkness.
If you guys are not be big fans of slow-paced relationship building stories...then don't play this game. JUST KIDDING!! There's still Knights Mode!! It is a fast-paced, hack-and-slash, procedurally generated dungeon crawler that provides more depth to MLBY and Cain's world.
The thing is, Zarek is still growing. Join us, MLBY, and Cain on a journey and let's explore a world that will be updated and fixed as time goes on.
