We are happy to announce that the Linux version is now available also with the Windows version and web version. We have also done a huge rework of some core system mechanics regarding rights and commends execution, mainly as preparation for more complex tools of higher levels. Now lets see the Changelog:
- available Linux desktop version (tested on Ubuntu)
- added special frame reward (Kickstarter and Patreon supporters)
- added status window on the login screen with server / game status
- added community tool for submitting text changes (contact admins for access)
- reworked system behavior while using other tools to access other nodes (browser, scripts, coin, some exploits...)
- reworked rights system (players are now protected same ways as NPCs based on OS version until they edit rights)
- some exploits are now dependent on root user rights
- added special rights for area servers (now rights are dependent on the level and if it is owned by the player, or its router or special node)
- user now cannot remove connection and rights management permission from the currently connected user
- format commands rights requirements updated
- preparing for better support of coin system for scripting
- added path format checking
- moved check of ownership of game copy right before multiplayer starts
- small performance improvements
- after the player leaves simulation, his whole subnet gets reset (ready for next player)
- NPCnodes are now kept a little more similar between quests
- improved system for cheating recognition
- fixed problems with promotion
- added more simple restart of training and quests
- fixed and improved some text (hints, assignment..) problems
- fixed some steps in quests which should not repeat
- fixed wrong OS version on maintenance OS bug
- multiple problems with rights system fixed

World Wide Hack is an MMO simulation game about realistic hacking and cybersecurity for the Web, PC, and Mac. You hack into the leaked system of QuanTech company and, with other hackers, reveal their secrets while exploring experimental open-world networks.
Manipulate corporations' and inhabitants' lives by hacking their computers, observe the consequences of your actions and decide if you want to protect or exploit this world.
Collect the most effective sets of hacking and security tools, gather assets, and improve your computer to hack others, control parts of the network, or create the best websites and tools which will help other hackers and make you rich! Work with others to make your experimental activities useful for your faction and lead with them the world in the right direction.

The game is in early access, so please be aware that the game still requires lots of bug fixing, polishing, and content and mechanics of the game can change. Currently, only Windows and Web are supported. Later will be added Linux and Mac support.
