Current game state and next plans
They are doing a fantastic work with the creation of the new character called Thyra and the new Ui assets and the in game Norse runes made by Jonathan. This is a sneak peak of what they are creating:
So now, since the game is going on in a good way and lots of new improvements have been done, the decision is to open in October the first Early Access of the game. A new post will be made to inform you all about the precise date and procedures for the Early Access and also for the Kickstarter campaign. Kickstarter would be a massive way to support the project, pay the game less and get lots of other benefits for the players and for who is developing the game. This is why probably it could start before the Early Access. There are some things to set up regarding these two procedures, so one good start point would be to know your opinion regarding this. Would you prefer supporting Utgardr through Kickstarter for a less price, more benefits and wait one additional month for the Early Access or pay the Early Access this October, paying the game a little more than buying it in the Kickstarter campaign? Thanks for your opinions and for everyone that wishlisted the game... we are more than 500!

Hello everyone, i hope you are doing well.
Some time passed, so i decided to make this post to inform you regarding the current path of this project. The amount of work is pretty high, so i couldn't post anything during this one and half month.
Actually the game is going ahead pretty well, as you can see in our social pages.

Lots of improvements regarding the gameplay and the 3d and 2d graphic are going on and will finish at the end of this month.

Project Utgardr is intended to be an exploration story based on parkour and with some puzzle to solve.
SOON THE DEMO WILL BE AVAILABLE ALSO HERE. At this moment is available only on Itch.io and on Game Jolt.
This game tells the story of Sara, ventured in a far land and with an horrible threat hanging over her.
She has to run out from that place, since her time is over...
You could find beautiful landscapes, mountains and a mostly rocky scenery where you need to scramble to reach the location to save Sara.
The Tutorial:
The game tutorial is progressive. This means that you will be advised when specific behaviours and actions will be required and the disposed key combination on the keyboard or joystick.
The Gameplay:
Inside the game you will need to reach a place to save Sara, hiking on all the rocks and obstacles on the route.
You will have a quite high amount of time to do it, but if you fail and the time reach the 0...
Sara will be lost forever...
When you lower the time to save Sara, it will be saved. So you can try multiple times to do a better path and reduce your time to save her.
Will you find a cool and fast path to reach the final place?
Oh yes, do not worry if you are in unsafe situations.
If you fall down from an upland and you think that your end is near... there are some shimmering green crystals around where you will be teleported as soon as possible.
There are also other things to do... for example find the Vrylroots.
They are red seedlings that grow near the water or on wet surfaces.
Could you find them all?
