So the time has come for a new update. We worked intensely last month to deliver this one in time and we hope you'll fully enjoy the new area we added. In this small preview the path our protagonist Thyra found is becoming increasingly steep and treacherous watch your steps! On the UI side of things we added new options for motion blur while we kept improving the games internal workings. The Demo will also receive an update to bring it up to speed with the Early Access.
With that being said, we're preparing to face our biggest challenge yet: working on the feedback you all left on some of our platforms to improve the player experience. Project Utgardr is intended to be an exploration story based on parkour and with some puzzle to solve.

SOON THE DEMO WILL BE AVAILABLE ALSO HERE. At this moment is available only on Itch.io and on Game Jolt.




This game tells the story of Sara, ventured in a far land and with an horrible threat hanging over her.
She has to run out from that place, since her time is over...

You could find beautiful landscapes, mountains and a mostly rocky scenery where you need to scramble to reach the location to save Sara.


The Tutorial:
The game tutorial is progressive. This means that you will be advised when specific behaviours and actions will be required and the disposed key combination on the keyboard or joystick.


The Gameplay:
Inside the game you will need to reach a place to save Sara, hiking on all the rocks and obstacles on the route.

You will have a quite high amount of time to do it, but if you fail and the time reach the 0...
Sara will be lost forever...
When you lower the time to save Sara, it will be saved. So you can try multiple times to do a better path and reduce your time to save her.
Will you find a cool and fast path to reach the final place?




Oh yes, do not worry if you are in unsafe situations.
If you fall down from an upland and you think that your end is near... there are some shimmering green crystals around where you will be teleported as soon as possible.




There are also other things to do... for example find the Vrylroots.
They are red seedlings that grow near the water or on wet surfaces.
Could you find them all?
