Update released (v3.8.6)!

Hi all,

For a start - my friend Vladimir has just released his first game on Steam:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/531490/
It's a turn based strategy with many interesting features: freezing water, light affecting ranged attacks, items, etc. Please give it a try!

Other stuff in this update:
- new: Snowman achievement for AOF1 - this achievement could be gained only during December. A note below
- update: known unit types - currently an unit could be evolved to certain type if this type was either in player's team or recruitable. With this patch, unit types will be learned during campaign.
- update: minor visual improvements, e.g. shadow border around dialogs and higher contrast on unit sprites
- update: Tutor gives more experience points for newly recruited units
- update: all animated terrain effects are disabled by default - sometimes hardware acceleration does not work due to old drivers or other reasons. This may result in unresponsive GUI and general hatred as seen in some reviews. There is option in Configuration to switch it on.
- bugfix: sometimes saves were not migrated correctly from My Documents to Application Data folder (Windows)
- bugfix: game was build for Java 1.8, while embedded jvm was 1.7 (Mac OS X and Linux only)
- bugfix: AI trying repetitively ensnare already ensnared enemy unit

We are introducing timed achievements such as Halloween or Snowman. Catch is that they can be gained only during certain week or two. The idea is to keep people engaged and I wonder how those will be received by players - please let me know how do you like them.

All of best,
Les
