UPDATE RELEASED (v5.1.4)!!




  • new unit: Unicorn - a poor’s man Paladin with basic anti-Undead and anti-demon skills. Magic-Immune and fast, but will panic quickly.

    Yes, I know it’s cute!

  • new location: Transmuter Lab

  • new: Holy Light (aura) - for Paladin and Unicorn, every Demon and Undead nearby gets -2 Attack for one turn.

  • new: Divine Shield - for the next turn unit is invulnerable to attacks and also to mind controlling spells. Only for High Priests.

  • new: Gate mechanics - gate in opened during owner’s turn, but closed during enemy turn. It can be destroyed as well. It’s still a bit experimental feature and not used in game yet.

  • update: new portraits for Shaman, Black Orc, Knight, Paladin, Black Knight

  • update: levels have an array of summoned elementals types (not a single type per level).

  • update: in Item Shops, the recruitment limit is not longer shown.

  • update: game will save visibility state for all locations and they won’t be faded-in after game restarts.

  • balance: Meditate is exclusively for Holy units (or via artefacts that make unit Holy). No Meditate for Evil anymore (they have to rely on potions)

  • balance: Orc chieftain got Warcry natively. He will use the skill if many greenskins are running away.


World Map is getting backported to AOF1, but this proves to be more complex than I thought. We might need to do some tests before releasing it as we don’t want to break the game.
