[SPOILERS]
You've heard of the "Side B" music tracks, you've seen weird upside-down images and lines of text in the YT videos, and VS is lacking a proper reference to one of the p c ever to appear in a videogame, so you must have seen this one coming, right?
The new relic Gracia's Mirror will allow you to play Inverse Mode, where the stages are upside down!
It's not only a visual novelty though, as it also boosts Gold gains and Enemy Health by 200%
On top of that, enemies also grow stronger over time, making this a proper hard mode. This makes a place like the Inverted Bone Zone an absolute nightmare
To make up for the huge spike in difficulty, the merchant will have an expanded inventory and will be happy to sell you additional Skips, Banishes, Rerolls, and an extra ARCANA. Buying it will increase the maximum amount of Arcanas you can carry by one.
Since the merchant respawns at every cycle if you're playing Endless, mixing it with Inverse means that you can get an extra arcana per cycle, with no limits! (Well, 22 is the limit...)
If you find the stage inversion weary on the eyes, but want to keep the gameplay changes, there's an option to disable the visual inversion.
