Triple Update

Hi, I haven't released updates for quite a while, but, big BUT! Now I'm releasing a very large update, which I've been poring over for days and nights :) Guys, I want to show you a full video clip with gameplay on 5 maps: [previewyoutube=IZVspFDDmc8;full][/previewyoutube]

List of changes:


Added:


  • Added text on the HUD showing the number of rounds won by the players. Also, the HUD now displays an image of the weapon that you have with you. + a white gradient with a blur effect has been added to the HUD.
  • Added the sound of the pulse rifle reloading.
  • Added the glow effect of the energy ball.
  • Added a new energy ball explosion effect. (I love Half-Life^^)
  • 3 new parameters have been added to the settings menu. Now you can change the music volume (if somehow you don't like listening to my tracks at full volume :)), turn on/off the vibration on the gamepads (sometimes in shooters it helps in shooting accuracy) and change the background in the menu (for example, the background may be from the swampy jungle or Hellheim).
  • Added sounds of touching the fragments of barrels and boxes.
  • Added 3 new maps: "Shadow Wrapper", "Nothingness" and "Acid Chamber". Their key features: Shadow wrap: You are in a cave with a flashlight, where everything is shrouded in darkness. Nothingness: The place is like a wasteland, there is nothing, just fog and symmetry. Acid chamber: Who spilled this green liquid? And what if you throw this big box on his head?

Changed:


  • Now, if you have picked up the deceleration ability, your energy ball released from the pulse rifle will not slow down.
  • Now, in Deathmatch mode, there will be an infinity symbol on the timer.
  • Now the energy ball pushes the player away.
  • The volume mechanics have been changed, previously the volume slider inaccurately displayed the current volume.
  • The mechanics of falling damage have been changed, now if you land on a box, you will not be damaged.

Fixed:


  • Fixed a bug that caused the timer sound to keep ticking even if it was stopped.
  • A bug has been fixed that caused damage to the player when a pulse rifle was fired.
  • Fixed a bug that made it difficult to destroy boxes or glass with your body at the time of time dilation.
  • Fixed a bug with layers. The water, when the barrel was destroyed, was spawned in the wrong place.
  • Fixed a bug with throwing the blue player's weapon. If it was not thrown on the "numpad -" button, then click the "return" button in the control settings.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the sound of a weapon falling to the ground from being played.

  • Welcome to the Vetrex universe!

    Vetrex is a game for two, in which you will compete with your friend for the winning place using different types of weapons, throwing grenades and throwing red exploding barrels on the enemy's head!
    The game has 9 types of weapons, 5 types of ammunition, 2 game modes, so far 1 map and lots of fun!

    Weapon:


    Pistol, silenced pistol, magnum, shotgun, minigun, sniper rifle, submachine gun, assault rifle, grenade launcher.

    Ammunition:


    Grenades, red barrels, first aid kit, shurikens, bulletproof vest.

    Mechanics:

    The game also has shuriken mechanics. If they are available, the player has a random probability in the line of sight of the enemy (holding a sniper rifle - 100%) to release a shuriken at the enemy during a shot from a weapon, while the shuriken takes half the damage from the weapon that you have in your hand. That is, if you fired with a sniper rifle, and the damage from it is 91, the shuriken will take damage 91/2 = 46.


    Use the barrels as a shelter, coming close to them, you can shoot through them, and if your opponent shoots at you, the barrel will take half the damage on itself.


    Also don't forget that you can throw grenades at different distances depending on how long you hold it in your hands. You can also discard them with your body.

    Modes:

    Competitive - the game lasts a maximum of 30 rounds, the winner is the one who reaches 16 wins , or draw 15 and 15 . The player's rebirth after death occurs after 3 seconds, that is, there is a chance of a draw in the round if the opponent also dies at this time. Also in this mode there is a timer for 1.5 minutes , after this time the player with the least amount of health dies (armor does not count). If everyone's health is the same, then both players die.

    Deathmatch - the game lasts a maximum of 61 rounds, the winner is the one who has superiority over the opponent by 8 wins , or the one who first reaches 31 wins. The player's rebirth after death occurs almost instantly, but there is still a chance that both players will die at the same time. In this mode the spawn frequency of weapons, ammunition, boxes and barrels has been increased . In this mode, the game is more dynamic, so you won't get bored, fun is guaranteed to you)

    Other:

    The game has many tactical variations of fighting against the player, you can either run ahead and destroy everything in your path, or quietly wait with a sniper rifle.

    Play to the bitter end, using all the game mechanics only in your favor. Throw red exploding barrels at the enemy, hoping that the player will explode from them. Running away, being unarmed from the enemy, put these barrels right in front of the enemy's nose so that he makes a mistake by accidentally blowing up on them.

    Make fake traps with grenades. If everything goes against you, throw grenades to your death and watch the player who will be torn apart by your grenades)
