Notes From the Underground #006
Adventuring in the underground is a lot of fun, but it pays to be prepared...and it looks like our wayward Explorer has been neglecting chores back at their base! Thankfully, they seem to have a knack for problem solving, and they\'ve come up with all sorts of ideas to make things like farming, fishing, and collecting resources much easier!\n\nA transcript of this journal entry has been provided below the image.\n\n

Notes From the Underground #6 - Chore Day
\n\nI have been on some incredible adventures lately, but boy am I ready to spend some time relaxing at my base! There are just a few chores to tend to before I can really unwind, though. Crops to tend to, fish to catch, and so on. Hmm, if only there were tools or machinery that could reduce the workload a little? I think its time to hunker down with a Cave Coffee and come up with some ideas!\n\nHow to Harvest?\nIve so many delicious crops growing, but they tend to sit unharvested while Im out adventuring, and thats precious time that could be spent growing more food! Perhaps there is some way I can augment the design of my patented Robot Arm to assist with gardening?\n\nMore Efficient Fishing\nIs there anything more relaxing than fishing? Id spend all day fishing if I had the time! I suppose I wouldnt be making anywhere near as many discoveries if I did that, though. Theres no way Id ever fully retire my beloved fishing rod, but itd be nice to come home to a net full of tasty fish after a hard days work. Something to think about...\n\nMy Aching Back!\nIve been making good use of the Laboratory Table lately, and the explosives Ive been crafting have been a real boon when it comes to exploration and gathering resources. An unintended side effect, however, is the pain Im feeling in my back every time I bend down to pick up the loot Ive been uncovering. I thought I might train my Subterrier to fetch me items, but he thinks it\'s a game and wont bring them back. Maybe this is a task better suited to a machine\n[ 2025-08-27 16:00:02 CET ] [Original Post]
