Version 0.8.0 marks a significant milestone for The Ghost - Task of the Ghost Hunters as the game remains in Early Access. With a wealth of new features, improvements and adjustments, we strive to deepen the gaming experience and respond to feedback from our community. This version not only brings a playable character with basic animations, but also a variety of new ways for players to move around and interact with the game world. Important optimizations have also been made to make the gameplay even more appealing. We warmly invite our players to participate in the open Alpha Branch and give us their valuable feedback to advance the development of The Ghost - Task of the Ghost Hunters together.

New features:

First playable character:

Players can now control the first playable character, equipped with important basic animations for movement, interactions and reactions.

New keyboard shortcuts:

A variety of new key combinations have been added, including the ability to run while holding the left shift key to increase the player's speed.

First-person/third-person switching:

By pressing the "C" key, players can seamlessly switch between first-person and third-person views to customize their preferred perspective.

New input interface:

A completely redesigned keyboard input interface has been implemented to provide more precise and user-friendly control.

Ghost ID:

The Ghost Pass was introduced to give players an overview of their progress and achievements.

German text edition:

The text output has now been localized in German to offer German players a more immersive gaming experience.

Adjustable volume:

Players now have the ability to adjust the overall volume of the game through the options to customize their listening experience.

Mouse sensitivity settings:

Mouse sensitivity can now also be adjusted in the game settings to allow for more precise mouse control.

New objects:

A selection of new objects have been introduced into the game world to enrich the environment and diversify gameplay.

New animations:

New animations have been added, including animations for doors, cabinets and other interactions, to increase the immersion and dynamism of the game.

The day and night cycle has been fundamentally redesigned, including an updated in-game time and the introduction of a custom date.
