Since our last update in October, the ownership of the game has transitioned, bringing with it fresh perspectives and exciting new ideas. With this, we've taken time to rethink, rework, and revise our beloved game General Practitioner 2 from the ground up. One significant change that I'm thrilled to share with you is the restructuring of our gameplay schema. No longer will you need to click on rooms or grind content to progress the story. Now, the game progresses in "chapters," which offers the chance to delve deeper into the lives and experiences of our characters. You'll have the freedom to choose which character to play firstAndrew or his sister Julieand then, should you wish, you could restart the game to explore the content and storyline of the character you didn't pick initially. This ensures that all game content is playable and fully accessible, regardless of your initial choice of path or actions.
Furthermore, the game will allow you to develop relationships not only between Andrew and Julie but also with the three nurses working at the clinic. Plus, keep your eyes peeled for new characters arriving soon. And that's not allwe're also excited to share that new chapters and stories are already in the pipeline, designed to keep you entertained and intrigued! We've also made medical exams a part of the story. Greetings fellow players and doctors! Recently, I was presented with an engaging opportunity that necessitated a shift in my current life. As such, I had to part ways with Bruni Multimedia and pass on the rights of ownership for all games and their licenses to another entity. Although this decision wasn't easy for me to make, it has opened up many doors of potential success moving forward. Dodonovels is the new entity which will own all of my games in the future.With the idea of rebranding in mind, I believe now is an ideal moment to create a new name and logo for my games. Updates and patches for all the games have been delayed a lot for this reason, and I apologize for that. Hello fellow doctors! Today I'm introducing you update 0.0.10, nicknamed "The Medical Exam Update". This update will focus on improvements about the management of your clinic, with Insurance companies to hire, lots of new patients to visit and lots of after-exam events with the patients as well!
As Julie and Andrew focus more and more on their area of expertise, they will face new challenges as the Medical Board will ask them for a more direct intervention in the clinic's business. You will need to face the Board's inspectors, and maybe earn their trust. Would they like a day at the local university studying new techniques, or would you rather bring them to drink something after work?
The nurses you hire will also perform various new tasks, and your relationship with them will grow bigger and bigger... Expect lots of new stories in 0.0.10, and as always lots of bug fixing and improvements. In the meantime, stay safe and healthy!

• Added 25 medical "tests" to earn knowledge points. To do such tests you need to choose to "Study" from the daily choices screen. Some tests might appear more than once, that is working as intended as you will find it easier to earn points as you also learn some medical terms and conditions. You can access the medical tests by choosing to "study" on the daily planner.

• Charles Owens examination is now available to play. Charles recently discovered a condition while urinating and needs more tests done. The examination includes kinky scenes.
• Maria Miranda examination is now available to play. Maria is a pediatric patient who arrives with her dad after finding blood in her urine
• Elsa Esposito examination is now available to play. Elsa's examination will focus on conversation options and your relationship with her. If you go to the bar after her examination you will find her there and continue her story.

Greetings fellow doctors! Release 0.0.9 will be available for download tomorrow! While you wait for the new update, I'll go through Elsa's medical examination, as well as some additional events that occur outside of the clinic with varying outcomes based on your decisions.
In order to build trust with the patient, as is necessary for many GP2 examinations, you will need to visit and speak with her. The issue with Elsa is Diabetic Ketoacidosis, meaning she has too much ketones and acids in her blood. This is caused by a lack of insulin, which can be due to not enough food, too much exercise, or some other factor. Treatment involves giving her insulin and fluids to help flush the ketones out of her system.
Why am I telling you this before you have the chance to play it? Because the major challenge for Julie will not be to figure out what's going on, but rather to persuade Elsa to adapt her way of life to better fit her special needs. Will you be able to earn her confidence and perhaps even more, if that is what Julie pursues?
The objective of this evaluation is to assess Julie's ability to handle relationships, rather than her clinical abilities. Will you be able to "rescue" Elsa from herself? It's time to put it all on the line! You have just a few hours until you can put your theories to the test!

Greetings fellow doctors. After summer break I'm back to working on update #9, which will be huge and will feature five distinct stories about the doctors' lives. Andrew and Julie's tale was last devlog, whereas this one focuses on Andrew and Nurse Jane, one of the love storylines in the game.
This will be a full chapter based on Jane, as I'm creating and releasing stories as comprehensive as feasible, which means that updates will come every month. Over one hundred new images and additional text await you in update #9. You will encounter Jane while shopping in aVictoria's Secret store before having the chance to coffee if you play your cards right. Your choices thereafter determine how things progress.
You can take her out to dinner, bring her to the spa for a massage from a former patient of the clinic, or leave her as a friend and invite her to join you at the clinic tomorrow. Next up will be at your home, where a completely created and hot passionate sex scene will play for you if you play with vanilla mode deactivated.
As always, you will have to make sure to manage your time wisely and keep up with your job as a doctor, or you will face the consequences. Three more medical exams with full after stories and even romance option will also be present at launch of update 9 later this month. Are you ready to take on the doctor's path! Greetings fellow doctors. I'm currently focusing on update 9, and I can tell you that it will take some time to complete because it will include a lot of tales and circumstances for both Julie and Andrew. In the coming weeks, I'll post Devlogs describing what to anticipate, as well as attempts at being as spoiler-free as possible. To begin with, I decided to split the game into "Chapters" because the tale of both doctors and their personal relationships with each other, as well as with other characters around them, would be told better in this way. In chapter 1 you'll meet Andy and Julie; their concerns, aspirations, and passions... And their profession. The plot will continue in subsequent chapters while new difficulties are added to the doctors' routines. Finally there will be a crescendo that will conclude the narrative in an exciting manner. The siblings' relationship is hampered by something that occurred many years before the game begins, and you will learn more about it in update 9; the introduction of the game has been modified, including new story elements that will introduce the characters and their lives before the game begins. The update features new gorgeous pictures in addition to 6 new musical pieces.
As a result, it is advised that you play the game all the way through at least once to acquire the new lines and grasp the narrative. Andrew and Julie's personal life will be further explored as they choose to go to a lake where they used to go when they were children. There, Julie will confront her mistakes and share some unique times with Andrew.
The players will select the connection between the two characters. Some events, on the other hand, will occur as a result of the plot's demands. They'll have a private moment that has nothing sexual about it, but it will highlight both doctors' confusion and emotional turmoil before culminating in an unexpected development. If the players choose to pursue such a relationship, it will be up to them, but given that this sort of connection is uncommon and difficult for all parties involved, you can expect the game to accept the players' beliefs and walk with them through chapter after chapter rather than forcing something unrealistic just for the sake on some sex scenes.
This game is in line with the Pearce family drama, which I'm writing for the two siblings. My approach to this sort of games and circumstances is as realistic as possible, and I trust that my tale about the Pearce siblings will move your heart as it does mine. These people are some of my favorites, and I guarantee that their tales will lead you to a satisfying conclusion. I've included a few more screens from Update 9 below. You will choose what to do with Terrie: will you ask for house arrests for her or you'll rather listen to the cop saying she's faking an illness in order to escape from jail? You will be able to continue Terrie's story throughout the game, if you wish to. This is an amazing addition to the game that will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the story.
Another story branch you will be able to play is Nyarai's. If you hired her as a Nurse, you will meet her in the relax room and start to know her better. Greetings fellow doctors. So, why are doctor visits handled differently in GP2 than they were in GP1? With General Practitioner, I wanted to provide you with a medical simulation where you do physical examinations, read their results, and determine whether or not your patient had a disease. It was more of a trial-and-error gameplay that some people disliked even though the Codex was there to assist you.
To summarize, in my first game, I had a similar gameplay mechanic to the one later implemented in GP2; however, because it's a completely different game, and because I wanted to add something new about a medical professional's job that wasn't covered properly in the previous one. Having two specialists with distinct methods for treating patients and their cases is a really interesting opportunity as well, and it deserves to be explored. That is why I decided to concentrate medical examinations in the game on doctor/patient interaction, bedside manner, professionalism, and even deception in order to increase insurance payments. Insurance brokers will also have a significant role in the process. You will encounter representatives from all firms throughout the game, and they will offer you bonuses as you expand your business connections with them. If they believe that you jeopardized a patient or acted unprofessionally during an examination, they might issue a penalty or no money at all.
Medical inspection may appear to be simpler, as there are no glaring mistakes to execute, and they may even be more "guided." Make no mistake: addressing a patient improperly or asking them to remove their clothes when they don't want to, or flirting with them when they're not interested, may provide you with new game possibilities but can also lead your clinic into financial ruin. You'll need to carefully treat each customer for the purpose of their checkup or find alternative methods to earn money.
Throughout this journey, you will see how your favorite characters develop, as well as discover new ones along the way. Both Andrew and Julie (now with customizable names) need to focus their studies on two career paths. The newest upgrade will feature Julie's first pediatric patient, providing more depth to patients' tales and backstories, which will be discussed further via chatting with your employed nurses. I'm a professional game designer and creative director, with experience in the medical sector. I've been working on this project for several months now and am quite close to releasing it. You can switch this any moment throughout the game. By default Andrew is attracted by women while Julie is attracted by both.

• It is now possible to play each examination in "Exam Mode" by accessing a patient's Codex entry and clicking on the "PLAY EXAM" button at the bottom of the record. This option is available only from the Main Menu, as in-game examinations follow a strict story-driven sequence.
• Eloise Steven's examination is now available (ID 3408813804). Eloise presents with genital ulceration.
• Annalee examination is now available (ID 3408813804). Annalee is pregnant and presents with a paracetamol overdose.
• Johnathon examination is now available (ID 3408813804). Johnathon presents with a case of poisoning. You will also be able to interact with him after the examination, if you made it right.

• Added story events for Andrew and Julie when you first stay home after day 12 and day 18
• Added interviews with Nyarai and Billie
• Added house pool scenes for both Andrew and Julie
• Added the option to choose your Registered Nurse. This will influence the game's story, personal "quest" and the financial outcome of the clinic. Some of these features are still being worked on. Please note that paying nurses salaries has not still been added to the game. You can enjoy them for free right now.
• Added an "after-exam" date event with Margareth, provided you completed her examination succesfully and you have enough relationship with her
• Added a new story event with Julie at the bar. The event unlocks after day 17 and only if playing Andrew. The event will be linked to an examination which is still under development
• Added an introductory dialogue with Dalila, a new character representing the Medical Board. She will visit you if you fail the exam with Margareth. She will eventually meet you in the future, if you did a good job with Margareth though.
• After day 26, if you examined Johnathon with Andrew, you will know about his fate, whether you were able to save him or not.
• After day 30, if you saved John's life, you will meet him again when you choose to "Stay home." If your settings for Andy's sexual orientation are "Men" or "Both" you can accept or refuse a dinner invitation by John Next patch will include the dinner and the possible outcome.

Greetings fellow doctors! In a few days I will publish the next major update for General Practitioner 2, which is full of news and stories for you to enjoy! After interacting with three Nurses, you may hire a Nurse after the third interaction. Each one has her own stories and dialogues throughout the game, as well as special perks to help you through it!
A whole new set of Codex entries will be added, covering all the ailments you will face in the game and helping you to make the right decisions.
MEET ELOISE WITH JULIE Eloise is a 25-year-old woman who has been to a genitourinary medicine clinic with two days of vulval discomfort and bladder pain while passing urine. She also has tender lumps in both groins, which she noticed for the first time.
EXAMINE ANNALEE WITH ANDREW Annalee is a 23-year-old pregnant woman with nausea and vomiting that occurs every once in a while, despite her pregnancy.
VISIT JOHNATHON WITH ANDREW When John arrives at the clinic, he falls unconscious. You must either save his life or condemn him as you attempt to figure out what happened and how to cure him.
NEW CUSTOMIZATION SETTINGS I created a setting for both Andrew and Julie to choose whether they are sexually attracted to men, women, or both. This will avoid them flirting with and forming relationships with unwanted characters. By default, Andrew is attracted by females while Julie is attracted by males. EXAM MODE RETURNS! It will be possible to play each examination in "Exam Mode" by accessing a patient's Codex entry and clicking on the "PLAY EXAM" button at the bottom of the record.
NEW STORY EVENTS FOR BOTH CHARACTERS Story events will be added for Andrew and Julie when you first stay home after day 12 and day 18 House pool scenes have also been added. You'll be able to see a new date event with Margareth, which will offer you if you completed her exam successfully and have a sufficient relationship with her, as well as a new date event with John and Andrew if you save his life. MEET DALILA The Medical Board will be introduced in the game with the introduction of Dalila, a new character who will represent the board. She'll come to see you if you fail your test with Margareth. However, if you did well with Margareth, she will eventually cross paths with you in the future.

Many of your ideas are priceless, and I'm confident that us working together we'll make this game genuinely one-of-a-kind! Customize Andy and Julie's names! One of the first things you requested was to make Andrew and Julie's names more similar to your preferences. Because so many of you asked for it, I've made it feasible for you to modify them as well. When playing the game, you will be able to change them or leave them as they are. I hope you enjoy this feature. Improved UI Yes, the user interface is still in development. To get rid of the annoying blue lines, the Codex UI has been completely redesigned. The text was also changed to better suit the screen. Work is yet to be done. No need to grind Do you find yourself waiting for a character to arrive on location? There's a "Character always present" option in the settings menu (only a few are accessible right now; more will be added as time goes by). Keep in mind that this isn't how the game was originally intended, and you won't be able to access certain things until you've finished the main narrative. This way, you may unlock the numerous conversations that have already been established between Andy and Julie (I will continue to use their original names in newsfeeds). Always remember that the game is an EARLY ACCESS, and many conversations will be added as a result. Greetings fellow doctors! First and foremost, thank you to all of you who bought my game after only seeing it in an early stage of development. You will now receive free updates throughout the completion of the game, as well as the ability to suggest changes, give feedback, and even create your own character!
GP2 is a different game from GP1. It allows you to play as both doctors, and their tales will overlap. While it's possible to play just one of them, it's advised (especially in the early phases of development) to play both so you don't miss anything. Some of you said that the plot is insufficient. That's because... IT IS! I'm still working on the tale; every room's action will be influenced by your decisions, and they won't serve as fillers. There's still a lot to do, and with several characters on board, among other things.
So, what's on the horizon for the next major upgrade? In a few weeks, you can expect the following features to be implemented:

• A new and improved Codex interface
• Interviews with two more nurse applicants, with their different backgrounds and skills
• Story events for both Andrew and Julie, with their personal lives going into different paths
• New house pool scenes
• After exam story of Margareth, with the option to have sex with her
• Three new medical examinations: Eloise, Mark and Steve

The release of General Practitioner 2 is finally here! I'm so excited to show off this game that has long been in development. You can now take on the role as either Andrew or Julie, doctors siblings who have lived separately for years but are working together again at their family practice after their aunt passed away --with all sorts of other surprises along the way too including some old favorites from GP1 (you know what I'm talking about, don't you?)
The game will have a variety of different scenes and options to explore, all while staying at home with your sibling or going out for work. You can find a guide on the "Guides" section of the Steam forum to know where to find each character during the day. You can peek into their room when they're sleeping so that you don't miss anything important; talk about what's on everyone elses minds (including yourself) in the living area as well! If things aren't quite perfect between two people yet - there are still plenty more events waiting just around each corner
The clinic is a hub for all your character's needs, with three different medical examinations that can happen in any order and multiple paths on each path. You'll unlock these events by returning to the same place or visiting it again; they include an introductory exam played out between two characters ( unfolds differently depending who you choose) as well as other plot-driven scenes like interviews conducted by nurses at this location - if successful during recruitment event Jane becomes one of their friends! The codex is a guide for those who want more information about the game's lore, including character profiles and patient details. It still has some aspects that are under development so please be aware of this when reading through it or using its features! As we're waiting for Steam to approve the game's release (I apologize for the delay, which is not due on my part for a change steamhappy), today I'm announcing that the full game will be featured as 18+ and won't require any uncensor patch on Steam, as it will be released with every scene, including sexual ones. Unfortunately, this will also mean that german gamers will need to buy the game outside of Steam, as 18+ games are still banned from this platform. You can find the full game either on itch.io or Patreon. It is recommended to buy on itch.io if you want to have monthly free updates, but if you want to support development on Patreon, of course that would be the best choice. Please remind that you can always opt-out for adult content in-game by disabling "Vanilla mode" on the game's settings, as in General Practitioner. Please remember this is a game, however, and if you need medical help you should always ask your doctor to help you. New gameplay Hire new staff members and manage the hospital in a new story-based gameplay. No more idle days trying to figure out what to do. The game is a full story and even hiring staff and managing stuff (!) is always story-oriented. No chapter will be like another as you get to know pediatricians, midwives, tech gurus, social media marketers and nurses!
