Week 12 Update 2. Linux/SteamOS Support - Version 0.3.10 ChangelistNews
Information about the new level modifiers (which will be changed and added to) is in the Patch Info section below.
In update 0.3.9 we also added support for 32-bit and 64-bit Linux/SteamOS operating system support. We are still working on a couple of issues with the controls help text sometimes flickering between keyboard and mouse and controller text and some GIF capture issue, but otherwise it should be have feature parity with the other versions including full controller support. Currently like the Mac version the dynamic shadows (from doors) are disabled until some OpenGL issues are resolved.
We'll be adding some more modifiers in Week 13, but otherwise our focus will be on making further progress on the next level, working on the multiplayer co-op networking backend and reworking the voxel system to allow the remaining issues (duplicated body parts and parts disconnecting on death that shouldn't) to be fixed properly.
The enemy speed/difficulty should also be slightly reduced from where it was in 0.3.8 and we will be adding the lunge attacks shortly.
Patch Info
The level modifiers added in this update are relatively basic as most of the time was spent on the system itself and other changes. We'll continue to add and change modifiers and probably have level specific ones. Some will eventually be unlockable by completing levels or tasks.

[ 2016-01-11 04:19:46 CET ] [ Original post ] Paint the Town Red is a chaotic first person melee combat game set in different locations and time periods. The voxel-based enemies can be punched, bashed, kicked, stabbed and sliced completely dynamically using almost anything that isn't nailed down.
You'll need to use your wits, speed and anything you can get your hands on in epic bar fights, disco brawls, old west saloon rumbles, college frat house beat-downs and a lot more.
We'll be adding more levels to the Early Access versions leading up to release and look forward to creating the best level ideas from the community. Please follow and add to your Wishlist to keep up to date on development and be notified on release.
