Update 1.0.4.2
\n\nUpdate 1.0.4.2 brings a redesign to the descent defense, dynamic damage number scaling system, a new tower spike attack, improved item drop particle effects for improved performance and more.\n\n
Major Features and Improvements
\n- \n
- Improved Descent Defense Tower Upgrade System: The tower defense upgrade system now has limits on how often additional projectiles and effects can be upgraded. After the max amount of upgrades are reached you will continue to be able to increase the damage for these attacks. This ensures and prevents from stacking so many effects in the late game that performance issue occur.\n
- New Tower Spike Attack: The tower spike attack was entirely redesigned and now shoots big swirling flail spikes.\n
- Damage Number Improvements: Damage numbers now dynamically adapts to your damage output to not display all numbers as high threshold numbers. The crit icon was redesigned for a more condensed less cluttered look.\n
- Improved Item Drop Particle Effects: Item drop particle effects from items that could drop in big amounts like skygems and hearts have received improved particle effects that should prevent performance issues when a lot of them drop nearby.\n
- Rift Improvements: The rift level selection now automatically scrolls to your current max rift level. Time format for rift time is now mm:ss for increased readability.\n
- Stone Statue Enemies have more accurate colliders for their attacks\n
Bugfixes:

- Fixed stone statue enemies after death having active attack hitboxes during ragdoll animation\n
- Fixes to echo weapon stats\n
- Fixed tower spike attack damage not being applied properly\n
