Small update ea-1.1.0.4 + plans for ea-2
This upcoming update fixes one of the main problems - UI navigation. I am redesigning all menus from scratch to allow players to use only their keyboard or controller to navigate the UI, making it possible to play and use different menus without a mouse. This update also introduces "Online Features" that allow me to dynamically change some small content in the game without having to upload an update to Steam (including different links, tester IDs, etc.). I also added a new "Announcements" section to the main menu. The good thing is that all of this is completely optional and you won't miss out on any game features if you don't have an internet connection. In this update, I also reworked some core game mechanics and key scripts to make the gameplay smoother and more enjoyable.
It's hard for me to say. But I hope to release the very first preview before 2025. This update will be uploaded to a separate branch, and I will push updates (new previews) to that branch from time to time. I will also post change notes like this for each new preview.
It will take a lot of time to finally replace the old ea-1. There are a lot of things I want to fix and rework after reading some of your feedback. During this development process, you will always be able to switch between the two branches without any conflicts between the two versions of the game.
The ea-1. Because in the first preview ea-2 will be missing EVERYTHING: the stages and all levels and game modes, the level editor, the profile and so on... It will just be there for you to test if the new stuff and navigation works with your hardware. However, ea2 will slowly recover all the lost features.
I just want to be transparent with the players and let you know what I am "cooking" and what to expect :D I will make another post like this when the ea-2 is finally released and it will probably be even more in depth. Anyway, thanks for reading the announcement! Your feedback and support is always appreciated, so feel free to suggest new ideas in the Community Hub :D Have a nice day!

What is ea-2 all about?

When will it be available?

When will it replace the old version on the main branch?
It will take a lot of time to finally replace the old ea-1. There are a lot of things I want to fix and rework after reading some of your feedback. During this development process, you will always be able to switch between the two branches without any conflicts between the two versions of the game.
Which version should I "main" when ea-2 comes out?
The ea-1. Because in the first preview ea-2 will be missing EVERYTHING: the stages and all levels and game modes, the level editor, the profile and so on... It will just be there for you to test if the new stuff and navigation works with your hardware. However, ea2 will slowly recover all the lost features.
Isn't it better to reveal all this stuff when the first preview is released, why now?

Come Together is a puzzle game. Your main goal is to connect two squares together while thinking about most optimal solution for the level. Come Together manages to squeeze maximum from this simple, at first sight, mechanic. The game provides a very smooth and enjoyable playstyle.
In terms of Gameplay and Player Movement, Come Together is very easy(unless you are standing on a deadly tile, of course): all you need to know is the main rule - your player changes every time you make a move. Based on that, you need to come up with optimal solutions for different levels and game modes.
Apart from the official levels, Come Together has lots of other gamemodes. Before you can access them, you should unlock them, of course: reach some goals, complete specific level, find somewhere or just buy. But thats not all: there are secret gamemodes in the game as well. They can be unlocked by beating hidden levels or challenges.
Apart from all of that, Come Together has lots of other features, of course. Here are some main examples:
* Secret Levels: hidden all across the game, hidden levels are here to show you the craziest mechanics that pushing the game to it's limits.
* Shop: here you can buy different customizations for your players, cursor, Main Menu and much more.
* Statistics: achivements, counters and your full game reports are included!
* Inventory: find, collect, inspect different stuff and it will appear here. Just like in bestiaries.
What about Multiplayer?
Yes, I will try my best implementing multiplayer into the game before the release, despite the fact that multiplayer is the hardest part. What about release date?
Sorry, I can't tell the exact date of the release. I am making the game alone and I don't know what can happen in future. I want to implement everything I planned. I, and probably you, want quality end product. Thank you!MINIMAL SETUP
