Moshcave 1st Major Update (0.2)
FPS drop is now fixed. - When the player was in a advanced floor, with lots of enemies, the fps was dropping significantly, but now every floor should be running smoothly. HP Regen fixed - One major problem pointed at the reviews was also the unbalanced hp regen. This is now has been fixed as well. New songs added - Two new original songs were added to the game, and they are scrambled between the levels. I plan to add at least 1-2 songs per month until Early Access is done (which will last until mid to end of 2023). Design changes - Changed a little bit of the design of the dungeons, such as changing the main block sprites, adding graffities to the walls. The enemies' sprites were also changed, adding movement to them. New creatures and movements - Now bats and spiders have random speed movements per frame. Two new creatures were also added: a new and stronger bat, and a "bomb-ghoul", which when it gets close to you, it turns into a bomb and explode. New blocks - Two new blocks were added: a bomb block, which will explode if you shoot a magic spell on it, and a spike block, which if you collision with it, it will deal damage to you. Be sure to hit those bomb blocks to help you defeat the creatures and break the regular blocks! Smooth volume change - This was already a feature on 0.1, but now it's way smoother. When you are close the band, the song is louder and vice-versa. Enemies balancing - Some minor changes were made on some of the enemies hp and damage, to help balance the game more.
- This is the biggest change so far. As you can see, now there's a small dance floor in front of the band. This dance floor is now the only place that will regen your MANA and HP (when it's colored). When there are no more enemies on a floor, the dance floor will turn grey, and it will no longer regen your MANA and HP. This is a feature that I believe that makes the game more dynamic, since you can't no longer wait to fully regen your stats before going to the next floor (when there are no more enemies), as was possible before. I understand this is a major change, so please tell us what you think about it. Also, when you move on the dance floor, you gain Mosh Points, which is a new variable that I added that will also show on your final score. I plan to add some sort of combo system or something like that in the future to make these mosh points more dynamic as well. Here's a screenshot showing the dance floor active:
Also, remember that you can press "H" while you play to hide the hud, if you want to have a more open view of your gameplay. This information can be seen on the sections "controls" in the menu of the game. That's it for the first major update. I really hope you enjoy it. Also, feel encouraged to leave a feedback or note saying what you think, how Moshcave could be improved or what you'd like to see in further updates, as it helps a lot in the development process, so the game could be more enjoyable by the final release. And again, thanks a lot for all the feedback so far! See you in the next update, and have fun! LGV

Hello folks! I'm happy to announce that Moshcave's first major update is live. Sorry for the delay since the Early Access release, but now I plan to release these major updates at least once a month, with minor updates in-between (if needed, such as for correcting eventual bugs etc.). I took into consideration every review, feedback and video that I've found about Moshcave, so first of all I'd like to thank everyone for them! Your feedbacks are really appreciated.
