Hi friends, its been a long time, but 1 year on from the last update here we are. A lot of this stuff was meant for release with the Line1 world which was out previously but not announced.

Story

The game now has a story(?), with cut-scenes, extra challenges and special worlds to visit. You'll see important events on the new Compass which is at the top. Who is this JC fella anyway? Some retired old skater it seems, we don't know much about him.

Online

There's some new things for online play, server replays, profiles and spectate. Since the base gameplay got changed quite heavily (mainly, how rewinding works), existing highscores have been cleared (sorry). BUT if you got a top 10 time up until now, you get an exclusive profile badge which will never be given out again; Urban Legend.

You can also choose to represent a country in your server profile too.

Custom things

Since a couple of the existing playermodels are now actual characters in the story, there's a new model to use which can be customized with different colours or styles. It's quite simple at the moment but gives you a fair amount to choose.

Additionally, if you want to make a simple custom board with some colour changes or a graphic printed onto it, you can find the board bench at JC's wood shop, or in the Center Island once you've unlocked those places.

Quick Menu & Other things

Quick Menu: New small menu, (bound to Q on desktop, D-pad left on controllers), has a couple things in it. You can spectate players who are in your world from here, or end challenges, set a waypoint and teleport to it.

World menu: The world map now shows some additional information, and you get a preview of the world before you enter it too. Workshop maps are now accessible from here too instead of hidden in the Center Island.

Note if you made some workshop maps before: The Blender addon changed many things to do with entities, I made sure all your worlds still work fine in-game, but opening your Blend file with a new addon version might cause issues. Just a warning!
