Hey everyone! We are back for PAX West 2022 with a brand new, updated demo! We listenened carefully to all of the feeback thats been posted on our Steam Discussions and are excited to share that lots of issues and bugs are now solved - with major tweaks to UI, camera work, Home Hub improvements and more! Let's dive deeper into what's new in Harmony's Odyssey new demo!

Improved UI, menus and text labels

We saw lots of people posting about the UI being hard to understand and improved it vastly with new icons and added text labels. Now, they're much easier to understand and navigation through menus, difficulty settings and game modes is also improved:

Bull's Football

We have a brand new mini game! Based around the idea of simultaneous control over the whole team, we managed to smuggle a bit of a puzzle to Bull's Football - our newest addition! What is it about? You control all team members at the same time - they move in the same direction and do not stop mid-way. Watch out for rivals - one opponent will just block your move but couple of them mean trouble! Assemble your own groups to fight them and put the ball in Minotaurs goal.

New features:

• New Mini Game: Bull's Football: You control all team members at the same time - they move in the same direction and do not stop mid-way. Watch out for rivals - one opponent will just block your move but couple of them mean trouble! Assemble your own groups to fight them and put the ball in Minotaurs goal.
• Home Hub Improvements: Take a closer look at new magic wands, discover and pick custom music tunes and check your laptop to view unlockables and game progress.
• Magic wands: Harmonys new set of accessories containing many special powers - for example, a wand that reveals properly connected tiles
• New puzzles: A set of new special levels available in the Home Hub
• Improved UI: New icons and added text labels to icons in the UI
• Item parts will now blink once being clickedon in side by side mini games

Bug Fixes:

• Camera work: improved navigation using mouse
• Fixed level list scrolling issues
• Fixed issue when first click on the level could cause incorrect zoom
• Fixed issue with incorrect stacking of sound effects
• Fixed issue where multifloor level indicator could go missing
• Improved CPU/GPU performance during some diorama and mini game levels
• Fixed shadows not displaying correctly during some cinematics

Harmony's Odyssey demo v5.0 will be available for you to try shortly - coming in September 2nd (today!) at 9:00 AM PT/ 18:00 PM CET - that's in less than 2 hours!
