Hi everyone Long time no see! As we're focused on developing Planetiles, we also wanted to address the most requested fix in Harmony's Odyssey - the A22 level fix. This is the offical full patch 1.1 notes:

• Increased the time reward for completing missions in Cats Delivery Service level A22 by 20%
• Decreased the number of missions needed to be completed in level A22 (4 -> 3)
• Fixed some minor visual glitches that occured in Airport level
• Fixed shader parameter usage which might have resulted in worse performance on some platforms
• Fixed UI layout for missions performed by the cat missing wand icon
• Updated the Japanese logo version
• Improved memory usage and performance on some older cpu/gpu's

Hi everyone We'd like to invite you on a trip through the development process of Harmony's Odyssey and all the funny & weird stuff that was created along the way. Some of these ideas are already implemented in the game, some of them are just rough sketches or simply our artists having fun - which is absolutely crucial for all games with cats.

Characters

Starting with the main protagonist - Harmony. We wanted to emphasise her go-ahead character mixed with lots of empathy and willingness to help others - because it's absolutely cool to help others.
Now what would a clever little wizard like Harmony need to work her magic and help our lost mythical fellows? The broom! We also played a bit with those and picking up just one was quite a challenge!
While working on Harmony's Odyssey and sharing all the wholesome and funny stuff online, we noticed that you - our players - fell in love with the selfie penguins and dragonmice. Check out some of the early work in progress of these guys:

Now who's the guy with magnifying glass all wrapped in mystery? Presenting the always suspicious Detective Mummy!
One of the first characters we revealed was the mermaid. Always looking glamorous and chilling in the pool, she likes to put her tail up and just relax:
How about the big guys? Apart from knowing how to play the ball, Bulls Football League members need to pack muscle. Check out the Minotaurs and Centaurs representing the opposite teams:

Level design and architecture

Here is one of our favorite levels - the Museum Park. We enjoyed working on this part and hope you noticed some cultural references we were inspired by:



Other level that really stands out is the Airport, inspired by ancient architecture and symbols:

Harmony's Home is a very important part of the game, that we wanted to make as cozy and inviting as possible. Below, you can check some of our super early ideas on this magical space:

Patch 1.05

• Reduced the number of rendered small objects on the lowest quality level to improve performance on older, low-end computers
• Improved lighting quality on some levels and cutscenes
• Fixed the bug where a single item (dagger) was not clickable in Tea Party (Arcade Room)
• 3D assets optimizations for better performance
• Memory and gpu optimizations for better framerate overall
• DIscord button added to the main menu

Hi everyone! We are back with another announcement about the newest Valve portable games wonder - the mighty Steam Deck!
While we're still waiting to jump into official queue, we are happy to inform you that Harmony's Odyssey works great on Steam Deck straight after installing - no tinkering with settings, Proton layers etc. It was actually quite suprising to learn that we didn't even have to remap buttons or anything - just launched the game and *poof* we're solving cutesy dioramas! We made sure to optimise the game download size - it is currently 583 MB and takes less than 4 GB of your Deck's storage space. Surely the device's fans will appreciate it as they won't even have time to ramp up properly during these 3-4 minutes of installation. That's right - TGS 2022 is the last chance to try Harmony's Odyssey newest demo, that just recently got updated with new features, UI update and a brand new mini game - you can check out all the notes about it in our most recent Steam announcement. Hey everyone! We are back for PAX West 2022 with a brand new, updated demo! We listenened carefully to all of the feeback thats been posted on our Steam Discussions and are excited to share that lots of issues and bugs are now solved - with major tweaks to UI, camera work, Home Hub improvements and more! Let's dive deeper into what's new in Harmony's Odyssey new demo!

Improved UI, menus and text labels

We saw lots of people posting about the UI being hard to understand and improved it vastly with new icons and added text labels. Now, they're much easier to understand and navigation through menus, difficulty settings and game modes is also improved:

Bull's Football

We have a brand new mini game! Based around the idea of simultaneous control over the whole team, we managed to smuggle a bit of a puzzle to Bull's Football - our newest addition! What is it about? You control all team members at the same time - they move in the same direction and do not stop mid-way. Watch out for rivals - one opponent will just block your move but couple of them mean trouble! Assemble your own groups to fight them and put the ball in Minotaurs goal.

New features:

• New Mini Game: Bull's Football: You control all team members at the same time - they move in the same direction and do not stop mid-way. Watch out for rivals - one opponent will just block your move but couple of them mean trouble! Assemble your own groups to fight them and put the ball in Minotaurs goal.
• Home Hub Improvements: Take a closer look at new magic wands, discover and pick custom music tunes and check your laptop to view unlockables and game progress.
• Magic wands: Harmonys new set of accessories containing many special powers - for example, a wand that reveals properly connected tiles
• New puzzles: A set of new special levels available in the Home Hub
• Improved UI: New icons and added text labels to icons in the UI
• Item parts will now blink once being clickedon in side by side mini games

Bug Fixes:

• Camera work: improved navigation using mouse
• Fixed level list scrolling issues
• Fixed issue when first click on the level could cause incorrect zoom
• Fixed issue with incorrect stacking of sound effects
• Fixed issue where multifloor level indicator could go missing
• Improved CPU/GPU performance during some diorama and mini game levels
• Fixed shadows not displaying correctly during some cinematics

Hi everyone! Welcome to our newest community announcement, in which we break down Detective Mummy - one of the most popular mini games available in Harmony's Odyssey! Mini games play a huge part in our cozy puzzler and are unlocked along the way while solving regular dioramas.

What is it about?

You are the mythical private investigator with a mission to find hidden objects on a set of detailed dioramas filled with treasures. Starting off the inspection, you need to be observant and carfeul!
Rules are quite simple: 1. Find the highlighted object hidden somewhere on the diorama 2. Watch out for fails (misclicks) as they are limited, depending on the selected difficulty level: Easy mode: No limits to fails Medium: Up to 3 fails Hard: No fails available One of the main objectives we had with designing these riddles, was to make each level replayable with objects in rotation. If you have 6 objects to find, you can be sure that once you replay the level, objects to find will rotate, meaning players will be served with a different set of treasures to find! That's it, that's all. Just remember - not all objects are as easy to spot as the radio above!

Multiplayer modes

Detective Mummy - like most of the mini games presented in Harmony's Odyssey - is fully playable in a local multiplayer mode. Invite a friend to help you with finding objects - or rival eachother and see who finds these hidden treasures faster! Here are couple screenshots of a co-op/versus modes:


While investigating and looking for treasures in the multiplayer mode, you can compete with second player on who find all objects faster, or work together. Depending on the selected difficulty level, rules change a bit, adding cooldowns and other interesting features. And it's a wrap! Hi everyone! Apparently we are in for another very hot summer so today, we'd like to take you on a trip to one of the coolest places the world of fantasy myths has ever seen - the chilly and refreshing Winter Resort! Harmony's Odyssey features a variety of biomes and dioramas and Winter Resort is packed with things to do, being one of the favorite destinations of our mythical creatures. From ice skating on a frozen lake to snowfights, this cool biome has a lot to offer, let's take a closer look!

Who runs this place?

Winter Resort and all the entertainment opportunities it offers is run by the great Odin - snow fights and ice cream connoisseur. He is a bit shy but we caught him trying to hide a bit behind his beloved strawberry-pistachio mix:
(work-in-progress Odin because he likes other flavors as well) Odin overlooks the Winter Resort and enjoys when its visitors are having good time, conquering winter opportunities and solving refreshing puzzles!

Winter activities

Winter Resort is an intricate and rich diorama that requires players to be very observant. Some of the hints are hidden in each tile's details but once solved, they offer quite the treats that include:
Penguins love ice skating! While solving this section of the diorama, you'll need to help these guys by swapping tiles, creating the frozen water basin:
Another example of a time well spent during the winter holidays is - of course - skiing! Whether you're in for a casual ride of a sports rivalry, this traditional discipline is our imp's favorite!
They look super cute in these sunglasses but also need your assistance - solve the tiles to build the snowy slope so the imps can enjoy a bit of winter recreation:
These are just some of the cool treats the refreshing Winter Resort has to offer so stay tuned for more reveals coming shortly! This biome will be featured in dioramas, mini games and lots of other treasures that just await to be discovered in Harmony's Odyssey! Hi everyone We are back with another update and this time we are focusing on both - the events and game development and how we are doing with bringing the most wholesome and cute adventure puzzle game out there!

Game Development update

We are right on track to embark on an epic odyssey with Harmony in Q3 this year. We are continually working on new biomes, levels, creatures and all the mighty features you have the opportunity to try in our newest, recently updated demo. We gathered loads of feedback in recenty months during both online and live events, such as PAX in Boston and it was a great experience to see what players liked the most and also, stuff they skipped more often. Stuff you LOVED: - Solving main dioramas: Whether they're facades or isometric - we were greatly reassured to learn that the main part of the gameplay is also the part you enjoyed the most! We are improving your experience with these, adding more levels, interactivity and more complex isometric dioramas (6x6 and 8x8 squares) as during PAX we observed a great intested in particularly the hardest levels - Detective Mummy mini games: Spotting differences and finding hidden objects is fun! These mini games really bring family members together and the hardest difficulty settings seem close to the sweet spot! We continue to work on hidden/paired elements and promise to enhance your experience even more! - Visual presentation: We are being reminded that you love the presentation almost daily and it works as a great motivation for our team to simply focus on bringing you more content (levels, creatues, biomes, mini games etc). Stuff you want to see improved: - Mini games balancing: Some mini games, like the challenging Dragonmice Dungeons or Cats Delivery Service represent action-like genres and we understand that level design, timers and other elements require additional tweaks and upgrades. We continue to work on offering the best possible experience to both newcomers and puzzle veterans (who also remember PacMan era ) - Controls and tutorials: Some of the controls right now are not that intuitive for certain players and some of the tutorials - not that easy to understand at the first glance and we are working on a 'directed tutorial' where we simply go through all features, requiring players to complete them at the very start.

As promised, we are preparing for a series streams and important game reveals in June and July with the first one being the great Dreamhack Beyond!
With the Steam event kicking off tomorrow, we are delighted to put our game in front of some great Twitch and YouTube streamers. Hi everyone! We are back with another exciting update on Harmony's Odyssey development and this time, it is all about enjoying our mythical puzzles together - in new co-op and versus game modes! The idea to introduce multiplayer modes in our upcoming adventure puzzler was a plan from the very beginning and we are happy to announce that all of the levels playable in single player will also feature a local Co-op mode! Some of them will be playable in a Versus mode and here are some of the first details about both additions:

Co-op Mode

In the Co-op mode, two players will be able to solve all available dioramas together, as well as partcipate in the diverse set of mini-games. During solving dioramas, they will rearrange tiles together so one player can be quite a helping hand if the second one gets stuck! In the mini games, things get interesting as well!
Spot Objects mini-game will feature split screen to allow each player to have control of their cameras, however the score (and errors limit in medium and hard difficulties!) will be shared. In Find The Difference mini-game, since the screen is splitted already, each player will receive his/her own set of coursors.
Wheter its rearranging the tiles together or enjoying the mini games, we plan to utilise this idea to the fullest and provide an accessible, easily understandable and exciting twist to solving each level on ourselves. It also means full controller support - f.e. the host player can be on his desktop setup, while player two enjoys the game on a gamepad.

Versus Mode

In this mode, two players compete with each other in mini-games - the goal is to quickly spot more objects or find more differences, while not exceeding the given error count. The error count however is lifted when playing in easy mode, to make the competing experience friendly and accessible for the younger audiences. In medium and hard modes, the error count is adjusted accordingly and proves to be a challenge even more more experienced puzzle fans!
Any competition's foundation? It needs to be fair for every participant! To avoid any exploits and taking unfair advantage of your rival, we will implement a set of rules and adjustments. Find The Difference mini-game is an example, where both views need to be synchronized, the camera will follow a predefined path and make stops at certain points, rather than be in control of the player that picks up the first point. In Memorize Objects mini-game, which allows to shorten the memorization phase by pressing the button in single player mode, the game will wait for acknowledgement from both players or wait until the time is up.
