You have been good soldiers! Therefore, we gift you with this wonderful update. Today, one of two new maps will be released: the "Can Tho Slums" for Conquest. The second map, "Vong Canh Hill," will be released tomorrow. Also, there are plenty of new guns for you to play with. Our personal favorite is the "Baby Browning" pistol; it has no weight, but you need a couple of rounds to finish off your enemy. As we promised in our previous outreach, we have already started to update some of the old maps. The "3rd Field Hospital" has shrunk in size and received a facelift. The doctors at the hospital reexamined the bots and gave them more intelligence. And much more, ho ho ho! [Game] - Fixed animation glitch issue with dual weapons which could arise on servers with high ping when shooting too fast. This change affects other weapons as well especially flamethrowers - Fixed issue with dual weapons when wrong animation could play or effects are dispatched from wrong weapon [Server] - Fixed bug where NAV generate command was not working - Fixed stamina mechanics sometimes resetting - Fixed precision error in player offset which could cause state mismatch between server and client in rare cases, which may result in animation glitches or prediction system errors - Fixed bug when bot would not spawn if it was moved to other team in order to give player a free slot - Fixed bug when bots keep spawning back after they were voted to be removed if sv_hibernate_zombie_mode is enabled - Fixed bug in gun game when a weapon level could be skipped if player kills enemy team's leader - Added sv_hibernate_zombie_bot_count which will keep N bots playing on server unless players occupy their slots or manually add/remove bots (either using vote menu or console) - Fixed rare server crash which might happen when airstrike hits friendly team players and player who called it leaves [Client] - Average-typed player statistics (accuracy, kd ratio, score-per-minute) are now updated within 24hours of ingame-time window - Fixed bug when post-effects such as ssao, volumetric fog and dof were rendered twice when player is partially under water - Fixed bug with fog on particles when they could become completely fogged/unfogged if looking through sniper scope camera under certain angles, also fixed the same issue when mat_fullbright is enabled - Fixed bug when average player stats were calculated inconsistently - Fixed bug when player was unable to change loadout when class is restricted - Fixed bug when players could see through smoke if scope rt camera was enabled but ssao and dof - not - Fixed bug when players could see through smoke if viewmodel had non-default screen position (only for spritecard particles) - Serverbrowser is no longerdestroyed each time player closes it. Now its possible to have multiple instances of server browser which will work independently of each other - Removed delay before loading server list in serverbrowser, various other minor fixes [Engine] - Fixed bug when custom server would load configuration from online server last connected to - Fixed bug when flashlight shadows disappeared when looking at certain angles [Shaders] - Fixed bug when znear/zfar values were calculated incorrectly for some shaders - Fixed some shaders set their parameters incorrectly - Fixed bug when screen could turn dark after switching map if filmic tonemapping is off - Fixed bug when ssao could disappear on maps with certain fog settings. Added convar mat_ssao_fogscale to tweak how agressive fog can be against ssao ssao now uses autocalculated znear/zfar values, also tweaked settings a bit. Old values were: znear 1.0, zfar 24800, samplerad 4, intensity 14 - Slightly improved ssao blur shader [Maps] Newly added map: - Can Tho Slums Reworked maps: - 3rd Field Hospital [Bots] - Bots are more actively escaping from airstrikes, fixed issue when they stood still sometimes - Bots now pay less attention to events that happened far behind them, also they less walking backwards - If bot wants to attack someone while moving in prone it can now just stop moving for a sec instead of standing up - Fixed bug when bots reacted to events caused by their teammates and hence could ignore events from enemy - Fixed bug when bots could stuck in prone or crouch state when they are trying to hide to reload their weapon [Weapons] Newly added weapons: - AMD-65 carbine - Fusil Robust Sawed Off - China Lake grenade launcher - M79 Sawed Off grenade launcher - APS machine pistol - Baby Browning mini-pistol Reworked weapons: - M72 LAW - S&W M10-7 revolver (replaces M1917) Fixed weapon: - Mosin-Nagant M91/30 wood texture - XM607 magazine size
