In the early hours of May 2, 1964, while operating as an aircraft ferry, the USNS Card fell victim to a covert attack in the Harbor of Saigon, South Vietnam. Two Viet Cong commandos from the 65th Special Operations Group emerged from a sewer tunnel near the ship's anchorage. Under the cover of darkness, they planted two explosive devices on the ship's hull, successfully detonating them and causing the Card to sink. Despite the significant damage, the ship was refloated 17 days later and underwent extensive repairs before returning to service. |

There's a new map, 'Cao Lanh Rice Fields,' coming soon. The 'NLF Outpost' always had rice fields and a beautiful skybox, but most of it was lost due to too much foliage coverage. So, in anticipation of the upcoming rice fields map release, the NLF Outpost has received a facelift. |

The Stoner 63A, designed by Eugene Stoner in the 1960s, is a modular firearm that can be set up as a rifle, carbine, light machine gun, or mounted weapon. It saw limited use in the Vietnam War but wasn't widely adopted due to its complexity and cost. |
