I fixed a bunch of issues for Steam Deck. We are also waiting for Valve's verification to give us that nice green checkmark icon! Also a bunch of other QoS and gameplay fixes - especially aiming. 0.9.28 [gameplay] auto-aim gun aim faster lowered auto-aim override time [bugs] fixed remote detonated bombs persisting through games fixed giant cursor on mac & linux fixed max 1 joystick detected [UI] twinstick/gamepad cursor closer any small fonts made bigger fixed stats button key icon stats button will vanish forever is used twice proper button glyphs for Deck fixed keyboard glyphs appearing on Deck fixed stats menu font scales added HUD scale slider larger HUD on Deck by default [other] law enforcement voices are louder adjusted flamethrower and sniper sound volume equipment button toggles console in main menu

Dear computer video gamer,
I have worked hard to achieve a masterful game, both deep and fun, satisfying the most demanding action desires. The idea came years ago when I vigurously played the demo of GTA 1 after school. I was addicted to killing as many pedestrians, cops and doing as much damage as possible within the 6 minutes time constraint of the demo. I also liked the original top view experience most and not finding a game like that on the market I decided to make one myself. But with additional twists to make it more interesting and emphasize strategies and unique ways of achieving total destruction.
What makes a good GTA car chase game?
- demanding police chase AI
- tricking AI into blowing each other up
- strategies / levelling up (eg. more speed? or more armor?)
- constant bar up with each gained point (more chase vehicles and types)
- slick feel-just-right driving
- satisfying physics leading to emergent situations (eg. explosions!)
- satisfaction and flow from avoiding the most dangerous situations
