Daughter Alpha milestone release is LIVE!

Good news everyone! After five and a half months of hard work, I am very pleased to announce that the Daughter chapter's Alpha milestone has finally been released! This is a huge release for us and we are very eager to get everyone's feedback from it. After completing the Daughter chapter, I invite you to please complete the feedback survey that'll automatically open after the boss is defeated. This is also accessible from the main menu. Please note that this is a new survey, different from the survey in the last release. Please report bugs in this Steam discussion thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1922550/discussions/0/634541741925543240/ Due to changes in checkpoints and save file structure, your save file will be reset. Apologies for any inconvenience. (The following update notes are largely a rehash of the last announcement that was posted a couple weeks ago.) Here's some of the biggest changes:
- Almost all of the temporary prototype art in the Daughter chapter has been replaced with phase one art! That means no more ugly, grey, placeholder grid textures :D
- All of the Daughter chapter's enemies have new, beautiful art and animations thanks to our wonderful new character artist Luca!
- Lots of narrative-related improvements, including a much improved Camera mechanic, a new Tape Recorder mechanic, and - finally - proper dialogue! (Using placeholder TTS voices for now)
- A short, new Prologue chapter to replace the old demo prologue. Please note this new Prologue still has a fair bit of temporary art, including the art for the new NPC characters.
- Tutorialization has been greatly improved across the board.
- The user interface across the game has received a big visual facelift, and many outstanding UI bugs have finally been fixed.
- Lots of various improvements to the melee system.
- Gamepad support has been improved greatly, though proper button glyphs are still not in yet.
- Audio mixing and spatialization has been overhauled across the board.

Psychosis is a psychological survival horror game about familicide.
When a family goes missing and you receive a mysterious phone call, all hell breaks loose as you are plunged into an expansive world where demons hunt you down and logic is turned inside out. Battle with the shreds of your own humanity through an hour of mind-breaking gameplay packed with combat, puzzles and mystery.
This is a standalone teaser demo that represents a shortened chapter of what the full game will be. This is equivalent to the Founders Edition on other storefronts: when the full game is released, you will receive a copy for free on Steam. The full game is intended to be around a 6-hour experience.
It's nearly midnight and you're bored doing overtime at work, at your small office in the rural Pacific Northwest. The dull silence is cut by a phone call from a man with a familiar voice. The gruff voice urges you to "come quickly, they're all gone."
Disturbed, you get in your car, and suddenly you're standing in the dimly lit foyer of someone's home. The place is empty, like everyone just got up and left. There's an awful stench in the air but you can't make out what it is. All you can hear is the sound of the wind and tree branches crashing against the side of the house, and a faint ticking noise.
Suddenly you feel an icy cold presence shoot through your body as your vision fades and your body washes with fear. You're paralyzed lying on the reeking, damp ground; through half-open eyes you see a tall figure wielding a harsh blade standing over you. The being opens its mouth as if to speak and all that comes out is the blood-curdling screeching of metal on metal.
