Yeah, friends!
It's been a long journey! The Art of War: Card Game entered Early Access in late February 2023. At first, the game was quite unstable, full of bugs, and it was challenging to play. Despite this, it began to attract fansthose who truly cared about it. Thanks to our dedicated players and their support, we were able to polish the game, balance the factions, and ultimately create a product we can be proud of.
After a year and a half in Early Access, The Art of War: Card Game is leaving its cradle and stepping out into the world, ready to face new challenges. With the completion of the digital version, our company is launching a crowdfunding campaign for the tabletop version of The Art of War: Card Game. The tabletop version captures the essence of its digital counterpart but introduces several key differences. Most notably, while the online version was designed for two players, the tabletop version can accommodate 2 to 4 players. Furthermore, the tabletop version allows you to play not only in a "one vs. all" mode but also in a cooperative mode where you can form military alliances with a friend. These alliances completely change the dynamics of the game, offering new strategies through the synergy of two different decks. Want to control the battlefield with cards from the Greatunion Tsardom while attacking opponents with machines from Nordkenigreich? The tabletop version makes it possible! Interested? Check the link!

If you're a fan of Gwent, whose beta version inspired us to create The Art of War: Card Game, a loyal fan of our work, or just a lover of card games, we invite you to join our crowdfunding campaign and support our project! But if you're not ready to purchase the game, simply sharing the news on your social media will greatly help the project!
Lastly, I want to speak personally. This project was created by Gwent fans, for other Gwent fans who missed the old rules of the game. It wasnt just a commercial endeavor; it was a passion project. I hope it has found its players and resonated in their hearts! After all, the game received 86% positive reviews on Steam. I think that's pretty good!
Thank you to all the players who played the game and reported bugswithout you, I wouldn't have been able to complete this project. I also want to extend special thanks to three players: Virus, The Spiggan, and you joined the project early on and provided advice, ideas, and just plain human support. I salute each of you!
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Serge from Brightdawn Entertainment
In this version of the game, we had fixed the bug with incorrect display of some cards stats during the training, and also fixed visual problems with the graphic effects on some devices.
The Sarioanthia faction was the last faction whose balance was questionable and who could not stand an equal fight with the other factions. We are introducing an update to the Imperial Faction that will change the faction's strengths and tactics on battlefield. Full list of changes: * Fixed bugs related to the effects of some cards * Rebalance of some common cards * Rebalance of Sarioanthia faction
What's new? 1. Fixed the bug with the non-execution of the effects of spy cards with the last wish attribute. 2. Fixed the bug when the game considers that the player did not play a card, although in reality he played it.

On February 1st this year this year, The Art of War: Card Game launched in early access on Steam, where everyone could take part in beta testing of the game. And now, after less than three months of testing, bug fixing and balancing, the game is approaching its final stage of development. It will take a little more time for the final balancing of the game, but nevertheless the game is ready for a full-scale launch on all supported gaming platforms: 1.Steam Windows, Linux, macOs - https://store.steampowered.com/app/1906570 2.Epic Marketplace Windows - https://store.epicgames.com/p/the-art-of-war-card-game-e3700e 3.Itch.io Windows - https://brightdawn.itch.io/the-art-of-war-card-game 4.AppStore iOs, iPadOs - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/the-art-of-war-card-game/id6446330030 5.Google Android - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brightdawn.artofwar It will take some time to adjust the gameplay balance between factions, but we are not going to sit idly by. We plan to order a test batch of the tabletop version with the lastest edits and prepare a crowdfunding page before the launch. If you haven't subscribed to the desktop version of the game on Gamefound yet, we invite you to do so right now! Don't miss your chance to play The Art of War: Card Game with up to 4 your friends.
