Devlog: Early Access State, Roadmap and Supporter Pack
You might have already seen Die in the Dungeon popping up with some content creators! Their early feedback has helped us refine the game, smoothing out rough edges in preparation for launch. Thats right, were racing full speed toward Early Access on February 21! Its hard to believe its finally happening, but here we are. Nows the perfect time to break down what you can expect at launch, whats coming in the first few months, and a little something special for those who want to support us!
The game is content-complete based on our original vision, meaning all planned areas, characters, dice, events, relics, and unlockables are already in place. But we still have plenty of ideas on how to make the game even better! At this stage, we believe listening to the community should be our top priority, just as we did throughout all previous versions (Classic, Origins, and the Demo). Heres what youll get at launch: - Three areas, filled with new enemies and five unique bosses! - Three playable characters, each with a unique board and exclusive dice types. - 100 relics to collect and experiment with. - 31 different dice types with 14 combinable properties. - Four extra difficulty levels. - 40+ achievements and unlockables. - Full localization in 11 languages.
We have big plans for Die in the Dungeon beyond launch. Heres a look at whats coming in the first few months:
We originally aimed to have controller support ready for launch but decided to hold off until we could do it right. Expect a much smoother and more polished controller experience in a post-launch update. We may even introduce it through a beta branch first, stay tuned!
At launch, youll already have four unlockable difficulty levels (with more to come in the future!), but we want even the best players to have more interesting challenges and rewards. Thats why were working on Endless Mode, a fresh challenge with new enemies and bespoke mechanics for those who want to push their limits.
We don't want to reveal too much just yet, but here's is a small taste of what's coming: - Better Events. As a beloved mechanic from Origins, we want to reintroduce dice-rolling during events. But this time, we have a much better idea on how to make them feel better and more balanced. More details soon! - Bestiary and More Content. The new Codex already includes an exhaustive list with all characters, dice and relics in the game, but somethings still missing enemies! Were working on a proper Bestiary with detailed enemy info, including lore! Of course, well also continue expanding other categories with new dice, relics, and more. - Story and Secrets. While we focused primarily on gameplay for the Early Access release, that doesnt mean we arent planning to expand the world of Die in the Dungeon. In fact, those of you who played CLASSIC will probably have a few questions waiting for an answer Is there a *true ending* awaiting our amphibian heroes?
And now, for those who want to go the extra mile, were excited to introduce the Supporter Pack!
If youd like to support the development of Die in the Dungeon, the Supporter Pack is a great way to do so! By picking it up, youll be directly helping us continue improving and expanding the game while receiving some exclusive content in return. This pack is purely cosmetic and does not affect gameplay, its simply a way for fans to show their support and contribute to the games ongoing development. Heres whats included: New Cinder Skin: Dice Knight (shiny and proud)
Companion/Pet: Baby Flyfant (does nothing, just cute)
Full OST by Fat Bard with 19 tracks (more to be added during Early Access!)
Before we go, it's time to announce the winner of our Steam raffle! Without further ado, let's see who the lucky one is... > kolpro12! Congratulations! You'll receive a message from us soon, enjoy your key!
Make sure to wishlist the game, recommend it to your favorite streamers/youtubers, and spread the word! Thank you for your support, and may your dice rolls always be in your favor! The ATICO Team

Die in the Dungeon is a deck-building, turn-based roguelite where your deck is not made out of cards, but DICE!
![]()
Each dice represents a different action, from basic ones like attacking or healing, to boosting other dice or copying their abilities. Place dice on your board to unlock their powers, but be careful... not any place will do! The way you arrange your dice on the board will affect how good your turn is. Try to find the best combination while you upgrade your deck and collect new, stronger dice with unique abilities.

Features
- Craft your deck from an ever-growing collection of dice. Every dice has its purpose, with tons of combinations to discover and exploit. On top of that, special properties and upgrades will ensure no single dice feel exactly the same.
- Explore the dungeon and its unwelcoming inhabitants. Forged by strong magic, the walls and floors of the dungeon shift continuously, creating a brand new experience in every run. Thankfully, encounters are not always hostile, but never let your guard down... it’s all a game of risk and reward down here.
- Discover powerful synergies choosing from a myriad of relics. Stack their powers and use them to boost your dice and board slots, multiplying the power of your combinations and becoming unstoppable. But don’t get too greedy, the stronger a relic is, the bigger their drawbacks will affect you and your deck.
