Hey everyone!

This update focuses mostly on the Random Nations aspect of the game. Not that useful for everyone, but definitely for some.

New Random Names Interface

Settings now have a setting to enable random names for Cities.

In addition, the old random names have been completely revamped and expanded to include some different cultures. You can enable specific ones, even the Classic ones. Some exclusive ones to specific languages are also visible on Settings.

Previously, you had to manually edit the RandomNameSettings.json file, but now you can edit your own custom names in the Settings.

In case you aren't familiar with editing the file. The name settings consist of Prefixes, Suffixes, and Full Names, which can be combined in different ways. Have fun coming up with cool names!

Nation Color Settings

In the display settings, you can also use the new "Dark" Setting for random nation colors. Here's a look at the world map with the old colors and with the new dark colors.

Additions

Added an in-game page for editing Custom Random Name settings
Added a bunch of new default Random Names Options to the game from different cultures
You can disable individual name cultures from Settings
Russian, Ukrainian and Chinese random names that were previously used if the game language matched, are now separate cultures in the list that can be enabled/disabled
Added a new "Random City Names" setting for spawning cities with names instead of blank ones, disabled by default
When random nation is created, their city name will follow the same Culture as the nation name
Added a new Setting for a new Color Scheme for random nations, this one more darker

Bugfixes & Improvements

You can now make AI create alliances of infinite size from World AI Settings
Fixed a bug where flag pack saving failed if you added a flag and then deleted it before saving
Mountain terrain will no longer count as "land" in Map Editor
Maybe fixed an issue where settings got reset in certain situations
Updated the default RandomNameSettings.json file that is created when no setting file exists. Your old custom file will still work.

Ages of Conflict is a versatile World War Simulation Game

AI Simulation

In this game you observe randomized or custom created AI nations interact with each other and ultimately try to control the world in a massive free-for-all, including alliances, revolts and all kinds of political twists! NOTE: This is not a Strategy Game.

Map Variety

The game comes with multiple pre-made maps and scenarios, but you can also create your own in the map painter, and use maps and scenarios made by others.

God Mode

You can affect the world by changing the names of nations, force them to battle, peace, ally or simply collapse with a click of a button!

World Building

This game can also work as a tool for world building, thanks to its ability to keep track of nations long since passed. The game has statistics which can help in finding ancient nations and comparing them to each other. With the right settings the game has the possibility of simulating a world for millions of years.
