Version 1.5 | Pose Feature
In Photo Mode, there is now a new options menu that gives you control over the character's pose! You can select from four pre-defined poses:
In the pose options menu, you can also change the facial expression of the character!
Characters will now also change expressions during regular gameplay: Every time they attack, their expression switches to angry. Note: These facial expressions will only work for custom characters that have set up their 'angry' and 'joy' blend shape expressions, during VRM export!
You also have the option to customize a pose, or create an entirely new one: When activating the 'customize pose' tool, the game will display a number of handles that allow individual bones to be rotated or moved. To reposition the camera, simply toggle the HUD (the 'H' key, by default). Note: This tool is only available when using keyboard & mouse, it has no controller support!

Select the Betas tab

Version 1.4 | 1 Year Anniversary | New City, Atmosphere Options, ...
The game now features a new, bigger city level! Unlock Atro City by causing $350,000,000 damage, in the original city (now called Down Town) while playing Crush Hour mode.
Note: There are a few things that are still work-in-progress, for the new city: So for now, please keep in mind that...
When selecting a level, you can now also change its atmosphere: Play during bright sunshine, a moody dawn, thick fog, or the moonlit night!
Characters now have blinking animations! This makes the character look more alivea low-priority feature I've been meaning to add, ever since the game's release last year... But it was only now that I've finally gotten around to it. Yippie! (Blinking animations are also available for custom characters: Simply set up the "Blink" blend shape clip for your VRM, prior to export.)
In the level settings, you now can also chose to have the player(s) spawn in random locations: This is a great way to keep things 'fresh', especially in combination with the atmosphere options. This option is also great in split-screen multiplayer, to spread players out a little. (Note: This option is only available in Custom, Sandbox, and Photo mode.)
Activating slow motion and freezing time, in Photo mode, are now two separate actions: This gives you a lot more control to stop the game in just the right moment and take your screenshot!
Pawperty Damage was released today, exactly one year ago! Since then it has grown quite a bitmost notably with the addition of Steam Workshop support and the custom character feature, late last year. Now, with the new city level and atmosphere options, I felt it was appropriate to increase the game's price point to reflect all of the additions since the game's original release. That also means this content update is free of charge for anyone who has already bought the game at its old pricean early-adopter discount, of sorts, haha! I hope you continue to enjoy the game, and thank you so much for this year!

Note: There are a few things that are still work-in-progress, for the new city: So for now, please keep in mind that...
- Some of the game's balancing still needs to be adjusted to work with this much bigger map: At the moment, many VIP Targets will spawn far outside of the players reach, for instance
- While player high scores will already be recorded for the new city, the in-game leader board does not yet feature an option to display scores for Atro City
Level Atmosphere Options
When selecting a level, you can now also change its atmosphere: Play during bright sunshine, a moody dawn, thick fog, or the moonlit night!

Patch Notes
New
- Unlockable level: Atro City
- Level atmosphere options: Sunshine, Dawn, Foggy, Midnight
- Option to spawn at a random location (available in Custom, Sandbox, and Photo mode)
- Blinking animations for characters (also available for custom characters)
- Dedicated key/button to take screenshot in Photo mode (will automatically hide HUD)
- Added Spanish translation
Changes
- Overall performance improvements
- Separated actions to activate slow motion and freeze time, in Photo mode
Fixes
- Various small bug fixes
Known Issues
- When changing level atmosphere, reflections are sometimes not updated correctly (resulting in wrong lighting and reflections, i.e. in building windows.)
- Because of a critical rendering engine bug, the 'SSAO' option is now permanently enabled, in the graphics settings: Turning it off caused violent flickering graphic glitches. I hope this workaround resolves the issue, for now, but please take care if you are suffering from photosensitive epilepsy

Version 1.3 | Custom Character Support
Ever since development began, people have been asking about importing their own characters into the game: I'm happy to finally announce that this feature has become a reality!
(Examples: KTqtpi's and Galileo's characters... and also the TF2 scout.) To import a character into the game, you need to export the model to a VRM file; this requires an installation of the Unity editor, as well as some Unity knowledge. I have written a detailed Custom Character Guide which will walk you through all the necessary steps to export/import your own character models: You can read the Steam Guide or find a PDF file, at the following path in the game's installation directory:
To help with the character configuration process, the game comes with a custom Unity tool: It allows you to tweak hit boxes, set character details, etc.
You can create mods containing custom character models and upload them to the Workhop: Before you do, please make sure you have the rights/permission to share the files. Also, do not upload any content that violates the Steam Online Conduct! If you run into problems or have any questions, feel free to post in the Steam Discussions or WorkshopI hope I can answer as many questions as possible!

Version 1.2 | Mods, Steam Workshop integration
Starting with this update, the game will be able to load "mods" which make sharing custom content a lot more convenient! The game still only supports custom billboard and character textures, I'm afraid, but these can now be bundled into mods and then uploaded to the Steam Workshop. In the future, more options for customizations (i.e. custom character models) will be added. I have created a Steam Guide to run you through the process of creating and uploading mods: Check it out, here: Mod Creation Guide
As mentioned above, the game now features basic Steam Workshop integration! You can browse the Workshop and subscribe to other users' mods, to import them into your game. Also, I have taken the liberty of preparing a few mods which you can subscribe to and import, right now: Simply check out the game's Workshop page.

Version 1.1 | High Scores, Steam Leader Boards, Character Skins
The game will now keep track of your high scores, both locally and via Steam's leader boards feature: At the end of each game, the results screen will display your personal best, as well as a leader board including your Steam friends' high scores. From the button in the bottom right of the main menu you can also access a more detailed overview of your and your friends' high scores. Note: To make scores consistent and comparable, the default settings for Crush Hour and Time Attack modes can no longer be adjusted: For a customized experience, use the Custom game mode, instead.
The game now allows you to import custom textures to change the look of the default cast! You can find a detailed guide as well as example and template files, at the following path, in the game files:
As a graphical improvement, the rendering distance for shadows is now adjusted on the fly, to get the best result at any given scale.
Additionally, I've released a skin pack which adds 6 new looks to the game's cast of charactersit's available as a free DLC!
