Hello everyone! We wanted to take a moment to update you on what we've been up to over the past few months, as well as what we're currently working on and what we have planned for the near future.

Reboot Develop Blue 2023

Last week (April 24-26, 2023), we had the pleasure of attending the Reboot Develop Blue conference in (mostly) sunny Dubrovnik, Croatia one of our favorite events.
At our demo booth, we unveiled the first version of our experimental Combat Simulator, a mission that challenges players to fight their way through increasingly difficult enemies. We also previewed four new cards that we're currently testing out. Aside from gathering valuable feedback from the developer community, we had the opportunity to connect with fellow developers and try out several exciting new games. What we're working on

Apart from attending conferences, we were also hard at work finishing up all the game's features and creating content.

Controller and Steam Deck support

The first thing we'd like to mention is the controller and Steam Deck support that we've been working on. We're excited to report that we have a functioning prototype, which is working quite well. However, it has also highlighted some areas that still need to be addressed to achieve the high-quality experience we're aiming for, such as text size on smaller screens and intuitive navigation on the heist map.
We'll keep you updated on our progress, and we'll let you know when it's ready to be tested in the demo.

Content - Story, levels, enemies and cards

We're also hard at work creating new content for the game, including writing the game's story, designing levels, and creating new enemies and cards.

• Story & Levels - In the demo, you got a small taste of the game, but there is so much more to Alex and her crew's story. We have the story outline completed and are currently transforming it into individual levels with unique story events and dialogues. Players can look forward to meeting plenty of cool new characters and experiencing thrilling heists in locations inspired by real existing buildings.

• Enemies - Rather than talk about them, we'd like to give you a sneak peek of some of the enemis that will do everything in their power to stop Alex and her crew from achieving their goal.

• Cards - As for the cards, we're working on adding new cards for Alex to add a couple more archetypes to build your deck towards. While they still revolve around her signature combo mechanic, these new cards will introduce fresh mechanics and tactics for players to utilize. We will talk about them a bit more in a few months, when we'll be also looking for testers who would like to give these new archetypes a try.
• Hacking - We're also working on the next iteration of the hacking mechanic, which will add a new special type of barrier nodes called Guardians to the grid. In addition, we'll be introducing some more UX and quality of life improvements.

Game Access 2023

Next up, we'll be attending the Game Access 2023 conference in Brno, Czech Republic, where we'll be showcasing some of the features we've mentioned above. You'll be able to try them out in our demo, along with many other cool games that will be showcased at the event. If you don't have any plans for June 2-3, 2023, consider stopping by and say hi!
