What's new in the d1.1.1 update

Combat improvements

• Improved communication of when you have the combo ready - When the combo condition for a card you are about to play has been met, the card now displays a visible golden glow. An animation has been added to the last played card indicator, making it easier to follow.

• New Visual Effects (VFX) - Several new visual effects (VFX) have been added to nearly all attack animations, for both Alexandra and her enemies. We've also added impact VFX for various damage types: slashes, stabs, shots, electricity, poison, and more.
• Notifications - Every time a character in combat receives a status effect or their HP value is changed, a notification pops up next to them.
• Change to Shield visuals - Now, when a character with a shield is attacked, a special animation is played, showing the shield being impacted. There's also a special animation for when the shield gets destroyed.
• Improved combat animations - Work continues.
• New cards - Six new cards have been added for you to try out.

*NEW* Combat Simulator

• A new type of 'mission' accessible from the city map. This involves a series of combat encounters in which you can try out the new cards and experiment with different deckbuilding strategies

Hacking overhaul

• Visual improvements -
• Tooltips - When a Node on the grid is hovered over, it now displays a tooltip with all the necessary information about it. This eliminates the need to refer back to the tutorial when you're uncertain about remembering something correctly.
• Card effect preview - When you target a node with a card, the effect it will have is now previewed on the grid. This informs you about how the strength of the node will change, or whether it will be captured or destroyed.

• Guardian Node - New type of ICE Node that you will have to overcome
• Garbage Node - New type of Node that you can use to discard cards you currently don't have a good use for, so that they wouldn't take up precious memory space.

New Music

• New music tracks have been added to the heist map and hacking.
• All of the music tracks have been broken down into individual instruments with a predetermined chance of being played. This ensures that when the track loops, it sounds different from before.

*NEW* Controller and Steam Deck support

• The game should be fully playable with an Xbox controller and also on the Steam Deck. This marks the first iteration of this feature, so we're very much open to your feedback. We're also aware that some of the text on the Deck might be a bit too small; that's something we plan to work on.
