Luna and 0.43 are Live!

Hey everyone. This is Programmer Panda, and I'm excited to write a bit about the latest release. We've been really busy this last month, so let's take a look at what happened!

Headliners


  • A new character has been added to the game :D
  • Artist panda has created a Patreon!
  • Lots of prep work for future characters (they should come quicker now).


New Features

  • Added a Luna Steam achievement!
  • Modify size of text in the speech and interaction boxes depending on the length of the text.
  • Added disclaimer to the Save Slot 2 section - make sure you read it! We'll be removing the second slot in our next update.
  • Added tons of new job promotion levels and achievements.
  • Luna! We haven't fully tested the balance of her yet, but she is meant to be harder/more end-game so let us know how it feels.
  • Wizard job is a real thing now! Bye bye no-clue placeholder :)
  • New gifts that unlock with Wizard job.
  • Added a fancy 'show/hide' button above all dialogue! This was asked for on the Forums, so thanks! It only force-shows itself when girl level-ups are ready.
  • Continued our work to reduce file size with lots of image optimizations.
  • The beginning of the 'dark portal' saga narrative...more to come in future girl updates!
  • Most (consumable) gift costs are the same however we've changed the optional diamond cost to all be 1 per item. This doesn't include outfits.
  • We knocked out the achievements page sorting for now since that's under construction - our next update should have a fancy improved layout!


Bug Fixes

  • Fix Luna's image to be high resolution in the Steam version.
  • Fix a bug that caused Bearverly to be loaded as a bear instead of in a school uniform.
  • Fix a possible Exception from being thrown in the Job code.
  • Fix a bug that caused loaded games to not load the correct love level for each girl.
  • Fix a bug that caused the girl portrait to have the wrong y offset after a poke animation.
  • Ensure wizard items are available to Bearverly and Alpha when they have their special items available.
  • Fix a couple of typos.
  • Fix bug with purchased multiplier persisting across a reset.
  • Fix some requirements on Luna.
  • Some of Luna's text was too long and running off the bottom of the textbox. The text size now automatically adjusts to allow for all of the text to fit.
  • Fixed some typos and duplicate names in the achievements.
  • Fix a bug where hitting Lover with Luna didn't give the correct number of diamonds.
  • Fix a bug where time played carries over on a reset.
  • We updated to the latest version of Unity in hopes of that sorting out some issues.
  • Fixed up some typos in Alpha and Iro's scripts.
  • Swapped tea set and plushy since they had their affection/costs swapped.
  • Lots of minor bugs that were reported to our support email. Thanks!


Balance Tweaks

  • Reduce the shipping cost of gifts to 25% (this may go even lower).
  • Lower the skill requirements for the Wizard job.
  • New prestige amounts, shipping costs for gifts, and heart amounts.


Thanks again for being so supportive of our Early Access title. We're having a lot of fun, and we hope you are too! We have lots of things coming up, and have a very exciting internal roadmap. I'm hopeful that we can share more of it soon.
