Were keeping our voices down, because we have a very fun but very shy DLC update for you today. A special new girl with a little twist - we hope you like her.

Suzu is here. Shes a shy forest spirit - a Kitsune (fox spirit) that brings good luck and joy wherever she goes. The only downside is Shes shy. Which is not the best trait to have when youre also maybe sort-of a guardian of various natural and spiritual places of harmony.

Suzus DLC bundle comes with a few extra goodies, including her outfits and a new Tree Planting Job - which is both a great way to earn a living and do some good in the world of Crush Crush. And the Job scales especially well for end-game players, so we think youll like it. And something we're experimenting with - an animated pose! Once you get her to Lover, all her outfits should unlock including an animated version of her main pose.

So check out Suzu, and consider unlocking her. Her DLC is $4 USD, and weve put in extra love and care into her that we think youll enjoy.

Next week well be launching a new Limited Time Event, that will allow you to unlock Ruri for free. Grab all the Tokens (or as many as you can). Remember - even if you miss a couple, her diamond cost will stay discounted after the event for a short while.

Do both of these things, and she will be added to your list. Then the fun begins. Oh rapture.

Onto other matters. Attention: all of the LTE girl bundles currently available in the Store are going back into the sexy vault. (Just to clarify, that's: Claudia / Tessa / Roxxy / Vellatrix / Sirina / Shibuki / Odango / Monster Girls). That means youll need to wait for another chance to get them. From the time of this post, you have 48 hours to acquire them before you miss your chance.

First the nifty surprise - a new Phone CALL! Not a Phone Fling, a Phone Call. Its different.

How is it different? Well, Phone Calls include vocal performances by one of our lovely Voice Actresses, and theyre all kinds of shiver-inducing fun!

So far weve only done one, for Rene, and we got lots of positive feedback for it. So now its time for round two. This time, youll be getting a call from everyones favorite angsty sk8r grrl, Nova. Shes in a bit of a jam and could use a friend. So definitely dont ghost her.

To unlock it, youll need to finish Novas first Phone Fling, and then make sure your own Angst skill is at level 40. Get on that - and enjoy your chat with Nova.

In other news, weve got a big improvement that LOTS of people have been asking for - improved LTE Token discounts!

What does that mean? Well, you know how the Limited Time Event rewards can be purchased for less diamonds the more Tokens you collect? Well, lots of people were asking (very politely, mind you, not a single pitchfork in sight) that after the event is over, they should still be able to buy the reward unlock for the discount they had earned. Basically, the option should remember how many Tokens you collected.

Well it does that now! If you earn a bunch of Tokens during an event, youll be able to buy the character/pinup/outfits (for a limited time) for the discounted price you earned in the LTE popup.

Thanks for your patience for this feature - weve been hard at work on a ton of content, and since we wrapped up a few big technical things elsewhere, we were able to jump on this quality of life improvement.

BUT - first things first! Unlocking Wendy is going to take a few steps, so read carefully.

FIRST - As of today, we've just added a new (short) Phone Fling for Wendy. You'll need to have all of her Phone Fling conversations finished to unlock her as a full girl. If you're having trouble unlocking all of Wendy's Phone Fling messages, note that you need Iro at "Sweetheart" level.

SECOND - Next week (starting midnight UTC time on May 6), you'll need to go to the Limited Time Event pop-up, and start collecting all of Wendy's tokens. You need to log in once a day to get each one, or grab some diamonds and short-cut your way to victory.

Do both those things, and Wendy will be added to your Girl list. Huzzah!

If you miss the event, you're not out of luck, but youll need diamonds to unlock her. Diamonds can be earned by completing relationship levels, grabbing the daily rewards, or buying some from the store.

So dont miss this special chance - she even comes with whipped cream. What are you even doing still reading this?

This weeks Phone Fling stars a very special, very important character. And, unlike most other Flings, it actually continues the story a bit from a previous Phone Fling. Neato!

Over the years, weve been growing the Crush Crush universe sort of organically. Adding story lines that overlap, a bit of a quest we thought would be fun, a bit of mythology. And now, all of that work is starting to add up - the mythology of Crush Crush will begin to matter in ways we never imagined in the beginning. Itll start to affect other games were working on and imagining. And some of that begins here.

This weeks Phone Fling stars QPernikiss. If that name doesnt mean anything to you, its because shes literally the last character in the game. The most difficult to unlock. The most difficult to complete.

And depending how far youve made it into her story, the fact she is messaging you might come as a SIGNIFICANT surprise.

Approximately a thousand years ago, when the internet was young, and the pursuit of waifus not yet so mainstream - there was a game that came out that rocked some socks. It was an RPG with a spiky haired protagonist back in the days where that wasnt nearly so common.

Well, the creators of Crush Crush played that game. And we fell in love with the waifus. And we had our own head-canons for what it might be like if certain characters got together and had themselves their own little final fantasy, if you catch our drift.

Anyway - completely unrelated - heres Claudia!

Claudia is a tough, bad ass gal who could save the world and look bored doing it. Shes a bit angsty. Shes a bit gutsy. And shes more than a bit busty.

She may or may not be the child of a certain head-canon. Or she may or may not be just a fun gender-bend of another character. Who knows? Were not experts. But shes definitely satirical, and falls within the bounds of fair use.

So the second great Phone Fling vote is over, and we can finally announce the winner! After thousands and thousands of votes, the lucky girl thats getting the full character treatment is

Actually three girls! WHOA! What a twist!

This vote was a nail biter behind the scenes. The scores kept taking surprising turns, and the girls that got an early lead didnt all hold that lead over the course of the event.

The vote was SO close in fact that we decided to surprise everyone and to award the title to the top 3 winners - Wendy, Ruri and Generica!

Our team is now going to get to work transforming these gals into fully dateable characters, complete with voice actresses, dress up options, and (should you have access) our patented saucy scenes.

And just to be clear - were not going to do this top 3 business every time. Were making a special exception here.

Since stuff like voice casting can be a bit unpredictable, we wont know for sure when the girls are coming. But rest assured they are! Well be announcing each of them as we get ready to launch them, so keep an eye out for them at a future date.

In case this is your first time democracy-ing, heres whats going on: every so often, we do a poll to see which gal the community would like to see upgraded to full character / date-able status. Its easy! Once you finish a Phone Fling conversation, you'll be given the option to vote for that girl to be promoted.

Everyone gets 1 free vote. And, if you're really serious, you can buy a few extra votes with diamonds. (Up to 4 extra votes, just as a way to show your enthusiasm for your favorite waifus.)

If you choose to get the extra votes, you can spread them around to all your favorite ladies. Or just make them rain on one girl in particular. It's your call!

Last time we did a poll, we got a TON of suggestions from the community on ways to make it better. Players were worried that waifus that are new or more difficult to unlock had the odds stacked against them. While others really didnt like you could see the running total of votes, because it created weird popularity contests and divided waifu-lovers everywhere.

So were definitely tweaking how things are done, but were going to tweak things one at a time. This time the vote tally wont be revealed until the end of the poll. Its a secret to everyone, so anticipation will be high. Were considering a few other major and minor tweaks as well, but well be introducing them in subsequent polls.

So get out there, earn some diamonds, vote for your waifus and wait to see if the Phone Fling of your dreams makes to the big leagues. And by big leagues, I mean into your digital embrace. (Aww.)
