Hey everyone!
We've been hard at work on this update because it's pretty unique. There's a bunch of cool stuff we did differently this time, so here are the update notes:
New Features
- TWO new girls added, with crazy different requirements.
- Final cutscenes.
- Music changes (for dramatic impact!)
- End Credits
- Updated the Stats page to have icons represented with the stats (easier to identify requirements this way)
- New settings to skip girl introductions and affection popups (check the Settings dialog on the More page)
- New achievements for the different Outro choices and for reset boosts
- DXT5 image compression butchers some of the art, so we're moving some of that back to Truecolor (32-bit). This will increase game size a bit, but will make the art much nicer in some cases.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed achievement icon issues.
- Fixed typos.
- Improved asset bundles and loading intros.
- Added in some text that was missing.
- Re-wrote the way in which hobby progression is computed, which will fix many issues people had with online progress calculation. You should now find the hobby progress will work correctly even when your reset boost/purchased boost are low, and even when online.
- Fixed a couple of places that null reference exceptions could occur.
- Reset the number of assets that need to be loaded/have loaded so that you don't get ever increasing numbers on the loading screen.
- Resized a couple of images to take better advantage of image compression.
Also, in other fun news we finalized our cast for the lovely ladies who will be voicing our characters. Recording is already underway; so we'll be posting info on our cast next week (@crushcrushDX).
Then we're off to GDC to soak up lots of knowledge, meet other developers, and try to hunt down a publisher for getting Crush Crush on mobile! Wish us good luck.
