Hey there! Hope y'all are doing great this month so far! For us, it usually means lots of planning and paperwork (ugh, so boring!). We wanted to give you a quick update on what's next for Roboplant. We won't be releasing anything by the end of March, we will be releasing at the beginning of May. This is because our next update is a pretty big one, and we didn't want to split it into two separate releases. So, what have we got planned?

NEW CONTRACT SYSTEM AND THE REPUTATION TREE

Well, we're overhauling the whole contract system with something we've been planning for a while now. Basically, when you start the game, you'll have a generic reputation to build up by completing contracts. After a while, you'll get to choose between partnering with big corporations or the little guy. This choice will unlock your reputation tree, where the more reputation you earn, the more rewards you get - new technologies, decorations, unique plants, and so on. But wait, there's more! You won't just be able to earn reputation by completing contracts - you can also organize events and launch marketing campaigns. To do this, you'll need help from trained sales reps and social media experts.

WORKERS TRAINING

Another feature that is always being requested is the ability for your workers to improve overtime so that you dont have to fire them and hire new ones to get more experienced ones. This will bring an overhauling for the hiring system as well since we need to account for this new process. We will tell you a bit more about this in the coming weeks.

SMARTER STORAGES

We're also introducing a much-needed feature - filters in storages. We've heard your feedback and suggestions, and we're going to make it possible to filter your resources and even set minimum amounts to keep in storage. So, if you're ordering some fertilizer, you'll be able to store a bit of it in each room, rather than having it all go to the first available storage. You can also set storages to hold only specific resources, so you won't have to go running around trying to gather everything you need. All in all, this is a massive update for us - it's a big milestone, and we're really excited to see what you all think of it! This is all for this update, see you soon!
