This bug was a hassle to track down.
It was reported on gog so I thought it was a gog issue and it ran just fine on linux and windows in the editor and both on steam. This led me down a path of thinking there was something gog galaxy related causing the game to throw an error before being able to adjust the viewport for the minimap dungeon.
This led to me trying all different kinds of new versions of gog\'s game builders and sdk wrappers. The bug persisted. I deleted all of the games settings to see if there\'s an issue with them causing the bug. Nope, it\'s still there. I tried to replicate the bug in the other versions considering what I thought the problem was also to no avail. I eventually downloaded a offline installer and tried that. NO BUG! How is this possible? I fire up the newly offline installed version in galaxy. No bug. What the hell is going on?
Well what was going on was that when I deleted the games settings, that SHOULD have given me no bug since the game would start with its defaults but gog galaxy would very quickly toss up all of my settings from the cloud right before firing up the game and then lo and behold I would see the bug, thinking that the settings weren\'t an issue. It\'s only when the firing up the offline installed version in galaxy that the cloud save failed to load and the bug didn\'t show up. It was actually PURE CHANCE that I just so happend to have the stat bar setting set to bottom ONLY on gog galaxy version that lead me down that online bug rabbit hole.
So anyway, it\'s fixed now and having your stats bar set to bottom won\'t mess up the minimap dungeon anymore. You just can\'t change the position WHILE in the dungeon. Other than that and it\'s fine.
In other news, I put up my first dev log for ROGUE-FP\'s sequel up on youtube. These are mostly just to cement the ideas i\'m working on in my head but if you\'re interested in these sorts of things or if you\'re working on your own roguelike then maybe you\'ll find it useful:

They will have no set schedule and will mostly come out as I overcome certain milestones.
That\'s all I got for now.
As always please report any bugs you come across in the bug report thread! It really does help a lot, as evidenced by this very update! It would have been a LONG TIME before I would have found this bug if it wasn\'t reported!
