HELLO GAMERS!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!! It is an honor to tell you all that I am back. I wasted a lot of my Winter Break from college on Elden Ring but I have locked in this week and created a few new features. Much more to come! DIRECTIONAL AUDIO! - Immerse yourself in the Uncle Kenny World, now with 3D audio!!! - As well, the sound now has filters when under the effects of the new drug pickups and more! COMBO METER!! - When you kill enemies in succession, you'll get a number showing your combo that will shrink and go away unless you kill more and take minimal damage! - Win coins when you do well! - Some balancing to come, but excited to launch the new feature. My first use of Gamemaker's GUI features New Powerups! - Snails can now drop jump boosts! - Druggie enemies can now drop drugs that boost your speed! - A new level in the middle of the act that uses the powerups for platforming - In act 2, hellhounds can drop speed boosts and bats can drop jump boosts as well Bees! - Bees now roam the early areas in the game, designed by my girlfriend Ava! - In one level, you can shoot a bee hive that can attack enemies. Will add that to a few more levels soon, but wanted to make sure that the balance was alright first. General Fixes - - Signs are now much more readable, although their large size may create a few clipping issues, will fix soon, - The pause menu has been fixed, now reaches the center of the screen at all times, and you can now go to the menu by pressing M. I think I'm going to let you go to the options menu from there as well. To be added soon. - You can now press the "F" key to see all UI elements at once for a period of time. - Act 2's cemetery location is now home to an old and abandoned Armory Building, a tease of Act 3 - A welcome to High Hill Trail sign is added to the first level. - Various graphics can be seen around the previously empty gray buildings, such as posters for Hank The Survival Guy and Uncle Kenny For Mayor! - Carl's shop glitch fixes, and adjusted prices slightly for inflation. - The comics inside of Carl's shop are now more readable. Sorry for the rushed update, I am super excited to get these features out and will be patching issues very soon. HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Excited for the final year of Uncle Kenny, almost 2 years since this slow burn journey started, and more than 3 years since I started the development. Thank you all! Heck yeah!
