New Stable Build

Stable Update

Here we go! This update includes everything from the beta, as well as a few last minute bug fixes and changes. Changes:

Beta #1

  • Vineyards also turn into fields when they are used up now, just like farms.
  • Temporian is more effective in Brutal
  • You don't get tools when you start Brutal anymore
  • Tools are removed from counter when shared in multiplayer games
  • Added glass as a new recipe. This will open quite a few doors, I'm not sure I'm ready to go down
  • Added Telescope
  • Added Watchtower. This allows you to effectively duplicate natural resource cards, such as a forest, quarry, river, or even water.

Beta #2

  • Corrected the sawmill recipe, so it now allows you to actually research it
  • Changed labelling system, so you now right click a card
  • 2 new methods of creating a press
  • Totally recreated the way in which cards are produced (This may lead to graphical glitches - Please let me know!)
  • Reduced the number of on screen sprites and text, which should help with frame rate
  • Changed the colour for living beings, so they're easier to spot
  • Corpses caused a problem on fast mode - Now resolved
  • The game will no longer move on to the Recipe Book until it has saved your game. This may have been causing an error on certain machines
  • You can now carry your Research Card onto a future game by feeding it to the Temporian

Beta #3

  • Butter can now be melted into oil
  • Cards spawned by the Temporian can no longer be used on the Temporian a second time (This includes the Research Book)
  • If the Research Card is destroyed or stored in the Temporian, you can no longer read it
  • Glitch effect added to Cards that have time travelled
  • Metal Ovens are added. Can be built from scratch, or upgrade a clay oven
  • Potatoes!!!
  • Greenhouses have been added, allowing you to grow vegetables and wheat in any season, and lasts forever
  • Cow and Pig "Corpses" have been changed to "Carcass"... so it doesn't sound so morbid
  • Watchtower has been changed to Tower. You can use the spyglass in combination with it to locate items
  • Can start fires using spyglasses and glass
  • Recipe book sorting has yet again been altered, sorting items into categories
  • When health is low on a worker (less than 21), the number will change to red
  • Workers with 10 or less health may cough when picked up, giving an additional indication that they are nearing the end of their life
  • End-game changed. You now need to:
[olist]
  • Repair the Temporian
  • Build a Gravity Battery
  • Build a Generator [/olist] The TO DO list has been updated accordingly

    Additions

    • You weren't able to research Potatoes - Fixed
    • Sometimes, carrots were set as raw, rather than food - Fixed
    • Pie quantities have been reduced. A chef will now only make 1 more pie than any other cook
As mentioned, this new build extends the endgame slightly, meaning you will need to work more with metals. As always, feedback is greatly appreciated!

Step back in time and into the shoes of a time-traveling inventor in Temporian, an exciting turn-based survival game taking inspiration from the hit anime series, Dr. Stone. Stranded in a prehistoric world, you face a series of thrilling challenges on your quest to repair your time machine.

As the time traveler, you're tasked with creating resources that have yet to exist in this era. Utilize your ingenuity to (re)invent everything from apple pie to electricity, as each step brings you closer to your present-day home.

    Over 100 Unique Recipes

Journey through the annals of innovation as you craft over 100 unique items. Every creation aids your quest to return to the present. Proceed with caution though, as careful planning is necessary for your settlement, and mastering new technologies, recipes, and meals will require clever combinations of cards.

    Complex Dilemmas

Expansion of your settlement presents increasingly complex dilemmas. Will you invest in infrastructure, or expend limited resources on better tools and equipment? When settlers fall ill, will you allocate time to heal them, risking other aspects of survival? Choices matter, and like reality, there's rarely a single correct answer.

    Multiple Endings

Your choices in Temporian ripple through time, drastically impacting the game's outcome. With numerous endings shaped by your actions, your inventions, and your time-altering decisions, reaching the future is one thing - but will it be the future you left behind?

    No Combat, Just Strategy

Temporian foregoes combat, focusing instead on experimentation, planning, and consequential decision-making. Play at your own pace and feel no pressure to take unnecessary risks. It's your survival, and your strategy.

    Multiplayer Campaign

Embark on a full multiplayer campaign in Temporian. Opt for cooperation or competition - the choice is yours. Aid your friends by sending tools, food, or resources to survive harsh winters, or use them to offload unwanted waste. Retaining the turn-based nature of Temporian, play with a friend, and see who can return home first, or work together and return at the same time. How you play is completely in your hands.
