Plans after being removed

In recent weeks, we have had several rounds of communication with Valve. Unfortunately, according to Steam's policy, games that have been removed due to publisher violations can never be restored or transferred, so the negotiations eventually ended in failure. Under these circumstances, we have made the following plans: [olist]

Based on the current situation and the efforts of all parties, we regret to announce that Bio Prototype will no longer be updated. Since we have lost access to the developer system, we will not be able to push any patches in the future;

Bio Prototype will not be available on Steam in the short term, but we will continue to make some attempts. We respect the rules of Steam and will continue to confirm with their staffs in the future whether it is compliant to resubmit the game by changing the name of the game and creating a new app.

We will also try to transplant the game to other platforms, such as mobile app stores and Epic Store. Until these tasks are completed, the game can still be purchased on the Nintendo Switch Store and Google Play.

We will unconditionally fulfill the 200,000 sales commitment for the "Steam Workshop" feature of Bio Prototype. Before Bio Prototype was removed from the store, the game's sales were fixed at 190,311. After internal team discussions, it was decided that the Workshop feature would be added to the sequel of Bio Prototype and implemented on the first day of release, without any sales thresholds or requirements. We hope to give back to everyone for their love of Bio Prototype, and we hope everyone will have more expectations for our sequel. However, since we have no experience in developing a workshop, there may be some missing functions in the early versions, which will be gradually improved after the game is released;

The sequel to Bio Prototype is expected to be released at the end of September. It will have more content related to builds and leveling. We will release a new post in August to introduce these new features and content in detail, and announce the new store page address.
