Hi! Only 9 days left until the official release of Episode 4.0 on Steam, so it's the perfect time to share some updates! Update 4.0 is one of the biggest and definitely the broadest update so far. It will define certain paths, give players more choices, and, most importantly, be the conclusion of your previous decisions. The full changelog, a summary of new scenes, and details about the work weve put into it will be shared in the next post at the beginning of next week. To sum it up, Im really proud of the massive effort weve put into this update. In just under three months, weve managed to fix all previous bugs, add tons of new renders and high-quality animations, and introduce many other improvements. On top of that, weve translated the entire game into another languagethis time, youll be able to play Steps of Debauchery in Polish. Now, a few words about our next steps. After this update, the entire team will take a 23 week holiday break. For over two years (even before the games release), weve been working full steam ahead to deliver the best project we can. Its time to take a breather and recharge for the second half of the game! As some of you already know, and others will now learn, I work as a firefighter. For the past five months, Ive been on unpaid leave, which allowed me to fully focus on Steps of Debauchery and set aside my usual work responsibilities. Starting in January, Ill return to my unit. This means Ill have less time for the game, but Ill still aim to release updates every three months or so. They probably wont be as big as they have been, but SoD is my passion project, and Ill dedicate as much time to it as possible. Thank you for all your support so far and in the future. Its thanks to you that I was able to take these five months off without worrying about finances or supporting my family. Thats all for now.
