Hey everyone on this peaceful Sunday! I wanted to share some updates on our progress and whats going on with us. So, as usual, lets start with a quick overview:
As you can see, the scripts are now fully ready! That means the text part of Episode 4.1 is completewe know exactly which scenes well add, what content will be included, and all the extra details. Were also past the halfway mark for the graphicsso far, weve created over four major scenes and a few additional elements. Were slowly adding them to the game and testing everything to make sure it works. Soon, well also start translating the scenes into all available game languages. Progress is a bit slower than usual, but thats because were working on multiple scenes at once, including some future ones. I wont spoil anything now, but I promise youll love the surprise! On top of that, were still in the process of onboarding new artists, which hasnt been going as smoothly as we hoped. Initially, we had four potential new artists, but one dropped out, and another didnt meet our quality standards. That leaves us with two, and while were still trying to establish a long-term collaboration, weve run into quite a few challenges. Instead of speeding things up, its actually slowing us down, but I believe that in the long run, this investment will pay off. Because of these setbacks, I cant give you a specific release date for Episode 4.1 just yet. Some scenes are being handled by new artists, and I cant be sure theyll be finished on time or meet our quality expectations. If we need to redo or adjust them, itll take extra time. I value my word more than anything, so Ill only announce a firm release date closer to March when I have more clarity. But dont worry! Were taking a small step back now so we can jump forward and release content much faster in the future. My goal for 2025 remains the sameIm aiming to release 12,000 new renders and tons of animations. Weve already created over 1,500 this year, so once we get back on track, I hope to hit that target by October! But enough talklets get back to work! Here are a few renders for you to check out.
