Hello, Heroes! Were wrapping up our pre-production, and next week well finally start production on Forbidden Fantasy: Bloodlines! Our characters are almost done, most of our environments too. The new tech is validated, and weve got a lot of surprises for you! The first of them is that were currently investigating minigames! One of the most common feedbacks we received on Forbidden Fantasy is that you wanted more gameplay. Our story was good, graphics and animations were great, but, you wanted something more. A bit more interaction. We look into it, in order to see whats possible within our budget, and were working on an MVP for a new battle system! Our new battle system will mix Turn Based Combat with a Deck Builder, so think of it like a classic RPG battle with a twist! This will give you new ways to interact with the world, more things to do within the Forbidden Fantasy universe, and, more importantly, incredible battles! Were still validating this new system, and making sure its fun and within our scope, so, no promises for now. Well do our best to include it in the game, though, as it seems a lot of fun! In another very important topic, we also wanted to ask your opinion about Classic Visual Novels. Specifically, I want to know if you enjoy playing these games. Games such as Phoenix Wright, Professor Layton, Steins;Gate, Clannad, Doki Doki Literature Club, etc. Were looking into ways to increase our teams output, and get content in your hands faster, and mixing this classic VN style with our current one would greatly increase our speed, as well as give us more options for different branches in the story, and, more content to you overall.
