  • Major update to game camera and overall lighting:

    • Fixes antialiasing

    • Increased contrast and saturation

    • Improved light and shadow quality



  • Fixed barrel LOD popping in tower of the shuttered eye interior scene.

  • Valhold: Fixed collision issues with castle wall crenelations that would cause players to float in the air when jumping on them

  • Adjusted collision on red and silver rectangle rug to fix some decoration issues

  • Added collision to curly extensions on the roof of Blue Tile Roof Rowhouses

  • Ardoris: Chantik, Damai and Pintar have more to say on their views of love.

  • Etceter: Ezb Krohon is no longer utterly fascinated with the door to his shop.

  • Forest Siege: Scout correctly closes conversation on farewell.

  • Necropolis: fixes to Samael's conversation

  • Epic Cloth Armor: color adjustments to match hood

  • Spite: Multiple fixes associated with the plot links between Spite and Malice

    • Path from Spite to Malice made much clearer

    • Agathon and Thetis will no longer try to sell adventurers ways into Malice that don't actually help.

    • Charon will only give passage to Malice if adventurers have made arrangements.

    • Malice cannot be entered unless the Path of Love has been completed to that point.

    • Many other minor changes and clarifications to associated dialogs.



  • Music: Added and replaced Music in a bunch of scenes. This should fix the issue with login music continuing into any scene without ambient music, since they should all have music now. Affect following scenes: Spectral Foothills, Crag Foothills, Graff Gem Mines Entrance, Southern Grunvald Barrens, Wyrmsands, Eastreach Gap, Grunvald Shardfall, Verdantis Shardfall, The Clink, Plains of Righ Inis, Northmarsh, Southmarsh, Mysterious Swamp.

  • Fixed icons in Bag Mode being blacked out (for real this time we swear!)

  • Fixed bad LODs that affected many player houses

  • The PVP confirmation now shows up properly when using a teleport scroll

  • Polished textures on Epic Cloth Armor

  • Fixed obsidian cloak floating too high over shoulder of male fortified leather armor

  • Fixed various exceptions and errors

  • Fixed issue with Coconut Mounts where mount speed persists despite unequip until avatar stops completely

  • Deleted unused plot fences, team pvp portal, and empty triggers from Soltown

  • AOE targeted spells are now treated like Blink.  If you can't walk to the spot, you can't cast there. This is to close some loopholes and exploits associated with AOE spells

  • Deleted unusued, disabled objects from Braemar scene (plot fences, teleporters, triggers)

  • Novia Overworld: Moved the houses and lamppost in the center of Ardoris away from the center to help ensure players spawning in from an Ardoris siege encounter will spawn on the ground and not in the air.

  • Switched the opening song to load into memory so it doesn't pause and stutter.

  • Fixed bad ladder in Obsidian City Keep

  • Added decoable mantle to Shingle Roof 4-story Rowhouse

  • Added trim to goal section of the Ornate Gustball Field.

  • Fixed Printing Press Bug where copied books would have "Blank Book" as Title

  • Moved Elven 2-story Globe home door to the front of the entry way.

  • Adjusted the deco wall surfaces in the 4-story greenhouse to sit directly on the walls to fix some issues with deco placement

  • Adjusted LOD ranges for trees on top of elven village hill playerhouse.

  • Fixed z-fighting on Obsidian 2-story Rowhouse.

  • Increased the distance we clear grass around plots (trees not affected) to fix issue where sometimes grass would sometimes still show inside houses

  • Made adjustments to collision of rock formation in Vauban pass

  • Fixed bug where Fire Elemental and Phoenix overhead glyphs persisted after summoning completed

  • Fixed issue where items could be stacked beyond 5 item stacking limit

  • Fixed issue where sometimes moving a container between inventory and lot could cause errors

  • Fixed issue that was blocking Offline delivery of recipes and titles

  • Turned down volume of water in Blood River Massacre (for real this time)

  • Fixed Elven Armor and Long Bow not disappearing during stealth

  • Fixed NPC overhead chat text getting cut-off by in-game 3D objects

  • Children in various places will react appropriately to Oracle minions.

  • Allow uppercase letters to be used for chat slash commands like /l, /L, /g, /G, /p, /P, etc

  • Fixed linked equipment not switching properly when swapping decks

  • Fixed issue that was causing graphical glitches with window glass on various assets like the 4-story Greenhouse Rowhouse

  • Set craftable Merchant Outfit and Wizard Hat to be enchantable

  • Edited pop-up help regarding conversations and journals so they aren't as overwhelming.

  • Dynamic plots now clear trees/grass up to and including their plot marker, instead of just the offical plot space

  • A new NPC in Brightbone Pass will teach the /shiver and /warmhands emote.

  • Fixed pink floors on guard towers in Port Graff

  • Fixed bug that was blocking players from receiving the Heart of Sorrow and experience from Sequanna in Malice.

  • Fixed missing cloth physics on obsidian cloak

  • Fixed male avatar's mouth lips not closing

  • Fixed flat blue ardoris guard player wearable legs icon

  • Fixed various errors and exceptoins

  • Fixed stuck spot in Ulfheim

  • Fixed Auto-run persisting between scene loads

  • Greatly increased fishing catch rate - doubled chance contribution from fishing skill

  • Fixed plot container UI bug that allowed the player to attempt (and fail) to add to an existing stack in the container without permission to modify/remove items from the container

  • Fixed pet Black Stag

  • Brittany Sewers: Fixed an issue with the ladder in the puzzle room to keep players from getting stuck in the water. Rearranged barrels in the same room to keep players getting stuck betweem them.

  • Recipe for Twirling Baton

  • Merchant Robes: Fixed dyeable area (again!)

  • Epic Cloth: Polished textures

  • Fix negative scale box colliders on Tavern counter

  • Darcy of Paxlair in Ardoris teaches /batonthrow and /batontwirl if asked about being a troubador.

  • Turn off graphics jobs for OSX/Linux

  • Fixed Enchant recipe

  • Aaron Denbo in Etceter teaches the /golfclap emote when asked about Artifice.

  • Karl Rognoff in Braemar will teach /burp when asked about beer.

  • Fixed issue where altitude was not being factored into combat calculations which was causing AOE attacks to hit players regardless of elevation differences.

  • Resolute: Various fixes involving the Lord Marshal and seneschal conversations/quests.

  • Fixed female avatar mouth doesn't close completely

  • Ruined Keep: Fixed customized ladders throughout scene, such as at (256.8, 38.8, 293.2) and (250.2, 38.8, 276.5), to ensure their interactions work correctly and they send players to the correct target locations.


Known Issues

  • Bloom slightly too intense.

  • Brightness slider not working

  • Targeting: Beneficent spells hit un-selected pets, not the caster

  • If you are patching R37 for the first time you will be going from 0 > 522 due to overall size of R37. This is as designed.

  • Dig In Skill has no cooldown timer

  • Some spell VFX do not play properly

  • Some textures may look incorrect due to optimizations (white, black, pink, low resolution, pixelated, etc.)

  • Hair is not properly working with lighting, fog, etc.

  • Lot Deeds cannot be purchased in Offline Mode

  • AMD A8 Graphics Chipsets do not work with Unity Games including Shroud

  • Using the Mirror on Isle of Storms can crash sometimes

  • Novia Overworld rework has introduced various stuck spots, incorrect collision and “exit into the air” issues

  • Some UI text is not wrapping correctly

  • Rain and Snow is coming through the roof of some buildings

  • The new Targeting system still has various issues that need fixing

  • Pathfinding is breaking in some houses and basements

  • Local chat is failing in some situations

  • Many SFX are not properly tied to the sound volume controls.

  • Lighting and fog levels are still being tuned to work with the new weather system, expect anomalies

  • Death and Resurrection do not work properly in the team arena

  • Water lots in Dynamic Player Owned Towns can currently only be placed along shorelines, not on docks

  • If your video drivers are out of date characters will appear as if they are covered in triangles.

  • Some cities are experiencing performance spikes

  • Some pledge, add on, and stretch goal items have not yet been built and/or do not yet have tech support.

  • The update to Unity 5 caused a host of general texture and lighting related issues, and not all of these have been resolved.

  • Distant tree billboards may have a white outline that is especially noticeable at night, and some trees may shimmer with white at night.

  • Skin tone will sometimes not match properly on different parts of the body

  • ALT key can no longer be bound. This was necessary to re-enable quick self cast with ALT
