Fixes:


  • Xenos: Fixed various issues around Xenos including:

    • Brought bedroll back down to earth.

    • Fixed some breakable vases that were not reachable

    • Fixed a tent that players were getting stuck in

    • Added/improved signage for shops along perimeter of central stage/plaza, including some tooltip customization; also added a few weapon racks outside combat shop.

    • Added a few additional discoveries to scene.

    • Terrain edge and seam paint pass



  • Novia Overworld:

    • Updated travel speed for roads near (-423.9, 13.6, -62.2) and (-420.3, 12.9, -68.4).

    • Added box collider around the Tower of the Shuttered Eye so players cannot wiggle up the side of it.

    • Raised the sailing boats by a small amount to help avoid ocean water splashing through the hull.

    • Fixed a typo in the spelling of "Port Graff" in its Discovery location.

    • Restored access to the South Varisalla Foothills



  • Blood Bay:

    • Lava polish

    • Fixed collision that was too big on the trees in the swamps

    • Adjusted locations of enemy spawners and player spawn-in targets to reduce chances of players being attacked while spawning into the scene.

    • Adjusted LOD distances for some of the taller buildings in the town

    • Fixed missing effect icons found in Blood Bay (Fire Damage and Confusion Field)

    • Added missing flora

    • Fixed stuck spots

    • Added a Stealth Field



  • Fixed LODs on Cinereous Stone 2 tier fountain

  • Adjusted exterior of 2-story Obsidian Rowhouse to prevent crashing with neighboring rowhouses.

  • Fixed issue where player corpses would stand back up after dying while under the Knock Down effect

  • Obsidian Crown merchants no longer discuss potions.

  • Added 2017 Valentine's Gift Boxes and 2017 Valentine's Card to the game

  • Fixed distances on avatar sitting animations so they sit correctly in chairs.

  • Added some additional logging

  • Updated in game events and known issues books to be R38

  • Updated some materials on the Pirate Galleon and made various other fixes

  • No longer can you rudely do business with bankers, merchants and trainers while clapping coconuts in their face. The reign of coconut terror is OVER.

  • Soltown: Blacksmith now properly exits conversation when off duty

  • Fixed issue where baby clockwork dragons were flapping their wings too fast when landing and taking off

  • Modified cull distance on Oracle Confirmatory eyes so they don't disappear before the building does

  • Fixed issue where melee combat attacks would disrupt mouse movement controls

  • Regeneration potions will now last a full 10 minutes.

  • Fixed bugs with craftable Shogun 1 Room Bungalow

  • Updated male and female walk cycles including walk backwards. Also added new encumbered animation.

  • Fixed Masterwork bug that prevented an item from being Masterworked more than 3 times

  • Tower of the Shuttered Eye: Adjusted Awareness and Help radii for all basic enemies and now they won't dogpile on players going up the stairs.

  • Fixed bodices not removing underwear

  • Naryad Moors: All garlic resource nodes are once again correct size and not overly large.

  • Fixed various issues with the Shogun Lighthouse Village Home

  • Added recipes for the Perennial Coast Farmer and Peasant Outfits

  • Fixed Equipment not receiving durability bonus displayed and expected

  • Set Masterwork Grandmaster Durability item bonus to be static (30 bonus durability) versus variable

  • Fixed LOD issues on craftable fountain

  • Fixed incorrect durability on Shogun Armor helm

  • Ardoris: Re-positioned barrels at this location and swapped one out for indestructible version. Loc: (-274.7, 84.9, -99.4)

  • Website: New landing page and new background

  • Fixed issue where arrows were firing half a foot away from the left shoulder instead of from the bow

  • Ardoris: Fixed broken ladders in guard towers. Fixed missing collision on walls of bridges leading into the city

  • Vertas Pass: All cotton resource nodes are now scaled to proper proprotions.

  • Dreadlocks hairstyle should now properly display hair color (not so dull)

  • South Celestial Wetlands and North Celestial Wetlands: Spiked-skull markers are once again present at each exit archway.

  • Fixed broken Aerie Merchants

  • Fixed issue where Grandmaster Buffs remain applied to party members even when GM logs out

  • Harvest: The Housing Deeds Merchant at (130.8, 38.1, 162.0) no longer wanders.

  • Fizzle bonuses were being applied inconsistently for staves/wands vs open hand due to an order of operations issue in the math.  The math has now been corrected and they should now be consistent but the result is players will likely see a change a change in total fizzle chance. Since we had to change the math for fizzle we also fixed a few lingering issues. 2 handed weapons were only counting as one for fizzle chances. They will now count as 2 full hands. The empty hand bonus was reduced to 10% (from 15%) per hand. Wands are still 15% bonus in either hand and staves are 30% fizzle bonus. The result is players who were wielding 2 handed weapons will see about 10-20% increase in fizzle chance for spells depending on the school.

  • Fixed issue in Soltown Catacombs where enemies could be Gusted through walls.

  • Superstition Canyon: The tree at (299.8, 56.6, 230.9) is now sitting properly at ground level. Elementals near (225.5, 51.9, 316.6) are no longer spawning within the rocks.

  • Nightshade Pass: Cleaned up shrubs in area and fixed ladder at Loc: (-19.5, 64.3, 215.9). Removed problematic fishing hotspot at (35.7, 19.3, 16.0).

  • Changed the name of the Poi Dog Statues to Foo dogs

  • Fixed various issues with the Shogun City Keep

  • Fixed bug where the Ghost corpse was not visible when killed and could be seen upright and alive when rezoning.

  • Fixed stuck spot in Vauban Pass )

  • West Perennial Trail: Grounded floating letter at this location. Loc: (-74.9, 33.5, -44.2)

  • Made a few skinning tweaks to Clockwork Dragon.

  • Fixed issue with decorations not being able to be placed in various locations of the 2-story Obsidian Rowhouse

  • Fixed problems with baby clockwork dragons VFX not showing up correctly

  • Fixed an issue where players would spawn into certain maps floating in the air

  • Adjusted pet collider sizes to improve pathing so hopefully they will get stuck less

  • Adjusted colliders on various wall decos to enable more consistent displaying of tooltips.

  • Adjusted collision on 3-story bamboo cluster deco.

  • Resolute Sewers: Turned off treasure chest functionality on several crates to allow access to resource nodes within.

  • Savrenoc Stronghold: Moved nodes to better locations. Loc: (-235.7, 35.8, -184.4)

  • Fixed empty merchant in Ferigs battle camp

  • Improved perimeter details in Forest 01 POT Templates

  • Fixed practice dummy LODs

  • Shogun Crown Merchant Updates: Blue Tile Roof row homes replaced with the new Shogun Row Homes, Two new Foo Dog Statues added, Existing Foo Dog statue lowered in price (10), Added Potted Bamboo 3-Pack, Added Ornate Shogun Room Dividers

  • POT Aelasar's Forest: Upgraded to Village.

  • Fixed issue where swimming with the Firedancer outfit would make the avatar appear naked

  • Fixed various bugs with Shogun Rowhouses.

  • Earthquake now has visible VFX again

  • Fixed Ardoris Priestess robes and headpiece icons

  • Fixed various exceptions

  • Playing the phonograph now properly fades down scene music

  • Fixed Bone Armor icons

  • Kingsport: There were actually 3 NPCs using the same path, the third being a non-lamp-lighting guard. Split the path into 3 separate segments and assigned each NPC their own. Also added lamplighter schedule to guard, because why not?

  • North Ravenswood: Moved skeleton near (-160.7, 27.6, -139.8)  away from the nearby tree to help keep him from spawning within the tree.

  • Fixed bug where Rend (Blades) created two DoT stacks on a single hit.

  • Changed Pirate Galleon crown price (350->300)

  • Fixed location of multi-selection item count when selecting items

  • Blood River: Edvard's "unlock" keyword hint made more obvious.

  • Solania: Mark the craft supplier properly ends conversation when player says goodbye.

  • Redmill no longer has two town criers, but instead has a town crier which no longer acts as a banker and a separate banker similar to other player run towns.

  • Fixed short and long skirted bodices not removing underwear

  • Fixed issues with the ornate wooden street lantern.

  • Elementals will now also do some amount of hand to hand damage along with their elemental damage. This should fix exploitable issues with using Elemental pets to distract wild Elementals.

  • Fixed issue where players already sitting/dancing in a scene when you join will appear to only be standing idle instead

  • Added more magical artifacts! Go find them!

  • Fixed issue with ranged auto-attack projectile being very, very slow

  • Fixed bankers not opening the bank

  • Added a few quacks on Duck anim tracks.

  • Zombie Raven Sound Added

  • Wisp Sounds and Catapult sounds sfx

  • Remote bank access device display name updated (from "Bank Access Device" to "Remote Bank Access Device")

  • Added Dye Remover to Obsidian Potion Crown Merchant: 12 pack for 8 gold cotos

  • Fixed missing textures and scale issues on copper baby clockwork dragon

  • Jabbering Bertha's name appears correctly when heckling.

  • Fixed Clockwork Dragon disappearing on death

  • POT Templates: Grasslands 01, 01a,  Forest 02: Increased flat areas in several locations for more easily placed castle lots. I left a subtle little patch of dirt on both ends of each intended lot space to help guide in placement.

  • Fixed male Firedancer outfit not removing underwear, woohoo

  • North Midmaer Way, North Hulenholt, South Naryad Pinelands, Solace Forest, Ulfheim: For Ulfheim and all related clones, fixed issue where Bear Patriarch was spawning inside rocks.

  • Fixed a typo in the description of the potion of might

  • Improved Earthquake VFX

  • Crag Foothills: Moved stag spawners to prevent the stags getting stuck in rocks

  • Fixed various issues with moving platforms related to not seeing other players properly

  • Fixed damage calculation on tooltips.

  • Fixed issue where Ground Pound range increased with skill level, but not reflected in range of targets hit


Known Issues:

  • Facial Hair transparency is showing big opaque squares ironically

  • Some Add On Store items listed in the Release Instructions post are not yet available (Dry Docked Pirate Galleon, Squirrel Pets, Baby Clockwork Dragon Pets, Ornate Circlet, etc.)

  • Some of the new potion recipes are not working correctly

  • Some NPCs are not holding items correctly (mugs, brooms, etc.)

  • When you watch another avatar swim the animations look broken.

  • Cloaks will often sort through the avatar's body

  • Some scene instances may be bugged in which it is easy for players to fall through the ground. An existing workaround is to reload the scene.

  • A new Conversation interface has been introduced and may introduce various issues with resolving quests and talking to NPCs.

  • Players may be unable to interact with objects via double-click if their framerate is poor. A workaround is to use the “E” interaction key.

  • Some spell VFX do not play properly

  • Some textures may look incorrect due to optimizations (white, black, pink, low resolution, pixelated, etc.)

  • Hair is not properly working with lighting, fog, etc.

  • Lot Deeds cannot be purchased in Offline Mode

  • AMD A8 Graphics Chipsets do not work with Unity Games including Shroud

  • Using the Mirror on Isle of Storms can crash sometimes

  • Novia Overworld rework has introduced various stuck spots, incorrect collision and “exit into the air” issues

  • Some UI text is not wrapping correctly

  • Rain and Snow is coming through the roof of some buildings

  • The new Targeting system still has various issues that need fixing

  • Pathfinding is breaking in some houses and basements

  • Local chat is failing in some situations

  • Many SFX are not properly tied to the sound volume controls.

  • Lighting and fog levels are still being tuned to work with the new weather system, expect anomalies

  • Death and Resurrection do not work properly in the team arena

  • Water lots in Dynamic Player Owned Towns can currently only be placed along shorelines, not on docks

  • If your video drivers are out of date characters will appear as if they are covered in triangles.

  • Some cities are experiencing performance spikes

  • Some pledge, add on, and stretch goal items have not yet been built and/or do not yet have tech support.

  • The update to Unity 5 caused a host of general texture and lighting related issues, and not all of these have been resolved.

  • Distant tree billboards may have a white outline that is especially noticeable at night, and some trees may shimmer with white at night.

  • Skin tone will sometimes not match properly on different parts of the body

  • ALT key can no longer be bound. This was necessary to re-enable quick self cast with ALT
