Updates


  • Fixed players not being able to attack or use skills when standing in glowing river in Elysium Mines.

  • Fixed AI navigation issues in Elysium Mines.

  • Fixed creatures freezing before returning to spawn point.

  • Fixed raining inside of Duke Benefactor player house.

  • Fixed collision errors in Jaanaford.

  • Brigid in Resolute now properly appears as a quest destination for the Path of Courage. We mean it this time. Really.

  • Khary in Harvest will now advertise that he is part of a quest to those avatars on the Path of Courage.

  • Quest progression data was updated in Highvale Outskirts.

  • Fixed the Water Elemental not healing.

  • Gatekeeper in Estgard will correctly advertise when ready to advance Path of Courage progress.

  • Toned down the following long-term buff VFX to reduce busy visuals: Air's Embrace, Celestial Blessing, Chaotic Feedback, Spellbinder Stance, and Enlightenment.

  • Enlightenment is now more distinct from the Shroud of the Avatar’s visuals.

  • Fixed an issue where current health display could get out of sync.

  • The appearance of terrain in the distance is now higher quality in Mountain Player Owned Towns and Resolute.


Known Issues

  • Loading into scenes may get stuck at 94%, we are reviewing the causes of this issue

  • Cabalists debuffs affect themselves instead of players

  • POT Owners/Stewards are no longer able to place Wax Cylinders inside Broadcast Automated Phonographs

  • Quest NPCs will not accept inexact stacks of quest items. Items must be exact quantity requested at time of turn-in to be recognized as valid.

  • Party/Companion nameplates can be visually obscured if enough buffs are added for icons to wrap to three rows.

  • Visual quest indicators may be missing from compass. Adding the data to support them is an ongoing design process.

  • Time-of-day compass indicators may not correctly match the sky's visuals.

  • Some extreme resolution options are not possible due to an inability to scroll the video resolution list.

  • Dazzling Rays, and other caster-based AOE spells, have difficulty hitting nearby enemies in confined spaces (like narrow hallways)

  • Death Shield does not mitigate damage from critical hits

  • Overworld map terrain may appear missing or flattened in areas for Windows 10 users. Playing in Windows 8 compatibility mode may fix this.

  • Ring of Cuttlekin turns avatar skin grey instead of translucent.

  • Pets cannot follow players onto moving platforms.

  • Hitching may occur when using UI windows like “Options” or “DeckBuilder”

  • Phonograph audio cannot be heard if approached while it is already playing.

  • If an item’s name is in Runic, its flag as “Private Property” will also appear in Runic.

  • Players with Tenant permissions on a Lot cannot place their own Player Vendors.

  • When a client first logs in as a trial visitor then relogs as a full account, many Trial permissions will still be present (inability to trade) until the client is restarted.

  • When a party member dies while targeted, the target focus is reset.

  • It is currently difficult to find harvest resources in scenes with the Surveying skill. This will be revisited after a VFX review of this system.

  • Deleting a character will reset the local settings for the entire client. Other accounts, or offline/online characters will also have their settings reset.

  • Some decorations placed in basements may shift through walls and end up in inaccessible locations.

  • Some scene instances may be bugged in which it is easy for players to fall through the ground. An existing workaround is to reload the scene.

  • Players may be unable to interact with objects via double-click if their framerate is poor. A workaround is to use the “E” interaction key.

  • Some spell VFX do not play properly

  • Some textures may look incorrect due to optimizations (white, black, pink, low resolution, pixelated, etc.)

  • Water lots in Dynamic Player Owned Towns can currently only be placed along shorelines, not on docks

  • Some pledge, add on, and stretch goal items have not yet been built and/or do not yet have tech support.
