Delay until January 2015
Man, it sucks to have to do this, however, today I had to make the decision of delaying the release date by a month. The game is pushed back and will be released in the middle of January... this makes me more frustrated than you.
The reason behind this delay is that, basically, the planets haven't aligned properly... the Steam Winter Sales are around the corner and releasing during that period would be suicidal, resulting in a complete overshadowing of the game. Aside from that, there is also the problem of the game needing a little more attention. I mean, sure, we could put it out next week, but I would rather have a bit more time to test out the latest implemented features, making sure the game won't explode and burn on launch.
For the past few weeks I've been working on some awesome things related to the release of the game, some nice videos and a really cool looking announcement page. However, all of those will have to wait a bit more. Game wise, we've been polishing the overall "playing online" experience and it needs some extra days of bug fixing for it to reach a rather stable state. After working 2 years on this, I don't really want to try my chances with an unstable build released during a major event and this makes it even harder for me because an extra month of development costs a lot more money, money that are quickly running out from my pocket...
I could easily take the cheap route that is very common in this industry, called "pre-orders" to get quick funds for the game, but I don't think paying for a promise is a good idea and nobody should do that. Move or Die is developed for you guys and I want to make sure that by the time you get to buy it, you are absolutely sure of its quality. I would rather take the expensive risk of pushing the game back a month rather than releasing a sub-par version of it and I'm sure you guys understand that. Quality comes before money. Having to be the one making these decisions sucks... See you on the other side of the sales! ~ Nick (Xelu)

Hello everybody!...
Long story short
Man, it sucks to have to do this, however, today I had to make the decision of delaying the release date by a month. The game is pushed back and will be released in the middle of January... this makes me more frustrated than you.
Why?

20 seconds, constantly changing mechanics and a lot of yelling. These are the keywords that perfectly describe a round of Move or Die, the 4-player friendship ruining party game where rules change every single round. Slap your friends’ controllers out of their hands while playing on the same couch, challenge players online from around the world or pretend to practice offline with AI bots. Select what game modes you want to play from an ever-growing list of developer and community-generated modes, each with their own outrageous mechanics and level design crafted to promote hours of good old friendship-ruining fun.
Play online to gain XP and level up, unlocking awesome characters and game modes in the process, or try to work your way up the daily challenge leader boards where players go against AI bots in survival-like matches. As its name suggests, Move or Die forces players to take action. In fact, not moving literally makes your character explode. And, with just 20 seconds per round, Move or Die is a quick game to pick up, but a hard one to put down.
