Asteroids ++ is the best Asteroids clone you will ever play in your life.

The Year is 2450.

Humanity has expanded their technology and improved in Rocketry. There was nothing out of the ordinary until disaster struck!
A moon one light year away exploded and has spread asteroids all over our solar system, this is where YOU come in!
You play as one of the captains who will control one of the spaceships! Go from planet to planet and get rid of the Asteroids!

When starting the game, you randomly generate sectors in planets based on set seed.
Inside the shop, expect to buy and customize parts for your spaceship. There are 36 weapons, 24 abilities and 12 unique abilities, which give over one million possible combinations for your loadout.
Each weapon is unique.

Shoot homing rockets that lock onto the biggest Asteroids, or have recruitments collect money instead of you doing it!
Stop time with the Timestop ability or DROP DOWN A F______ NUKE
Upgrade your speed upgrade for the spaceship so you can be so fast that your spaceship pierces through Asteroids!

In the game you'll face different types of enemies.

Yellow Asteroids split up into more smaller ones than usual
UFOs mimic the player's weapons and will try to use them against you.
A Snake is a long row of Asteroids rolling up to the player!

There's simply so much things happening at once!

Endless Run is a gamemode in the game that acts like a Roguelike version of the game!
Beat a sector, then choose between 3 powerups, which can be a permanent upgrade, a new weapon, or something that buffs you but nerfs your character at the same time.
Compete in an online leaderboard and try to survive as long as possible as the upcoming waves get harder and harder to conquer!
There's so much replay value!

Balance Changes

Player

You can now thrust in Asteroids ++
The player can now hold LCTRL (or hold LB button) to thrust to double speed, but changes controls and movement feels much like in classic asteroids. You can use strafing to damage or even destroy asteroids at a fast enough speed.
Thrusting will however use up ability power (faster speed = more ability power used). Be careful! Clones will use more ability power if you have many of them!
This brand new feature [strike]will be for future ship types[/strike]

Waves

Each wave gives 100 ability power (even with super skip)

Nuke

Nuke can now target UFOs (between medium and large asteroid priority, previously under small asteroids priority)
Nuke now deals 1.5X damage at starting level (20 > 30 per frame on level 1, 32 > 42 on max level), this change does not affect the player's losing health being inside the nuclear explosion
Mothership's pulse can reflect the nuke

Space Gifts

Timestop can now slow down space gift movement

Hook

The hook can now block enemy bullets at a cost of their carrying capacity being lowered because of it. The hook will have priority to chase after those bullets.
Because of this change, the price dropped from 70 > 50

Ability Power

Ability Power cannot go under 0 anymore.

General Changes

Updated the engine to GM2024.13
More of the game translated (more menu buttons and planets)
Since the controls are starting to get a bit more complicated, I plan to release controls config for the 1.3.X, which is in the works.
