Hello everyone! I'd like to share an update regarding the current state of Forebloomed, as well as give some insight on where I'm currently at. As of right now, future updates for Forebloomed are on indefinite pause for the foreseeable future. I know this may not be the most desirable thing to hear, particularly after we shared a roadmap for future planned content. The simple reason for this decision is that game development requires a LOT of free time to successfully maintain, and, at the moment, I just do not have that time. As it stands, I do not think it is likely that I will be returning to Forebloomed anytime soon. There's a small chance I might, but I strongly anticipate that any time I might have for game development in the near future is more likely to be focused on something new instead. I'd like to thank everyone in the community for supporting the game and sharing their enjoyment of it. Your support has made so many of my days even brighter! A top-down, action rogue-like about garden plants fighting back against the hungry pests that threaten their home.
By day, explore vibrant regions teeming with treasure, but be wary of the impending dark. When night descends, the fearsome Astral Sharks go on the prowl, threatening any who dare to oppose them.
As you journey through the gardens, blast your way through hedges to find gold, but watch your step, for dangerous pests may lurk among the foliage.
Gather an arsenal of unique, synergistic items that can drastically alter your playstyle. Confront various formidable foes in high-action boss encounters. Unlock a wide array of diverse characters with contrasting playstyles that keep each run fresh.
With so many items, achievements, cosmetics and more to discover, there is endless engagement for all types of players!

Destructible hedges conceal gold, treasures and secrets – blast your way through, but beware of hidden dangers within.
- 🌙 The Clock:
Don't spend too long out in the gardens- when night falls, the Astral Sharks will hunt down any wandering plants and show no mercy.
- 💰 The Shop:
Take a breather in the shop before your next expedition! Browse the shopkeeper's wares, plan your next moves, or simply hang around for a chat! You might see some familiar faces.

With over 80 items to collect, there is a vast amount of unique and interesting ways to develop your build. Try to discover them all!
- 🪴 Characters:
Choose from 8 original characters, each with their own unique quirks, abilities and styles of play.
- 🦗 Bosses:
Face off against overwhelmingly powerful pests who dominate their respective regions. Can you overcome the odds?
- 🌱 Seeded runs:
Generate and share your run seed to replay your favourite runs and share them with others!
- ⚠️ Challenges:
Re-evaluate your strategies with unique challenges that turn the game upside-down!
- 💥 Hard Mode:
With tougher pests, less gold and various other changes, you can't afford to make mistakes!
