- Added replays!
- The replay system is based on the online multiplayer code, so only Junk Attack and Gauntlet are supported for now
- There is now a "Save Replay" button in the post-game stats screen
- Replays can be viewed under OPTIONS > Game
- Updated the intermissions between Gauntlet rounds
- Slightly modified the timing of animations
- Added a new sound effect for the shutter retraction animation
- Added a new animation for the game speed decreasing
- Added a button to switch between the Default and Beta Steam builds of the game under OPTIONS > Game
- Added copy/paste support for text inputs with CTRL+C and CTRL+V
- Tooltips for "Fast Sliders" added to pause menu
- Improved navigation in the submenu for keyboard users when setting up a local game
- Navigation in scrolling menus (such as the resolution menu) now wraps around (moving up from the top option will jump all the way down, and vice-versa)
- Improved performance of log reader menu
- Made log file names more user-friendly (YYYY-MM-DD_HH-MM-SS.log)
- Can no longer open the log for the current session in-game
- Pressing the pause button while the game is paused now always unpauses the game (previously this was true for pressing Escape on keyboard, but not Start on controller)
- Reworked the game's startup and shutdown code
- Fixed potential out-of-bounds bugs in string formatting functions
- After attempting the Daily Puzzle while offline, the game no longer attempts to open the Steam Leaderboards
- Modified the range of motion for sliders, so the tick doesn't appear to go beyond the edges of the slider
- Prevented potential bugs caused by running the game after disconnecting the monitor it was set to display on
- Changing the display while in fullscreen exclusive mode will now correctly move the game to that display
- Resolutions higher than the native desktop resolution are no longer shown in the resolution menu
- Custom leaderboard colors are properly synced across game installations
- Pressing the quick drop button in puzzle mode (where quick drops are disabled) no longer triggers the sound effect and controller rumble
- Fixed a bug when using the Random Meter trigger in Junk Attack, where sound effects were played for charging all three levels of the meter even though you can only charge one
These changes only affect the Beta branch of the game:
- New spectators can now join lobbies while a game is in progress
- Lobbies are no longer hidden from the lobby browser while a game is in progress, instead they are indicated as IN GAME
- Added an experimental tournament system
- Intended to streamline setting up game lobbies for tournaments, allow staff to get an overview of current and past matches, and make it easier for staff to move between lobbies
- No manual action is required for regular players to register, they just need to join a lobby created by the tournament organizers
- New ways to invite players to lobbies by clicking the "Invite Members" button
- Room codes: players can enter the code by going to PLAY > Online > Join Lobby > Enter Room Code
- Steam URLs: opening these URLs (for example, by pasting them into your web browser) will join the lobby, launching the game first if it wasn't running already
- Online games are now counted towards your Steam Stats (total score, blocks destroyed, etc)
- Game lobbies keep count of each player's wins
- The game now keeps track of your last-used loadout in online games, and selects it by default
- Fixed controller rumble in online games
- Fixed switching the lobby type (public/private/friends-only)
- Fixed the logic for detecting if we were unexpectedly booted from a lobby
- Lobby chat now adds extra spacing between messages for readability
- Lobby chat now is now animated (characters appear in sequence as if being rapidly typed out)
- Added more helpful explanations for common reasons we might fail to join a lobby (lobby not found, lobby full)
