Ca-Caw! Just pushed a brand new update to version 1.0.21! Something you might want to check out is a new Gameplay Setting called "Wall Bounce"
This lets you disable bouncing off of walls and making the squeaky sound. Personally, I love the way it works by default, but thought it might make flying around easier for some folks based on the feedback we got. Here's what it looks like side by side On and Off:
