Sushi For Robots 1.03 patch, Steam deck verified, and the futureHi!
There's a new patch with the following changes:
- There's a new hint/tutorial for when dishes bump into each other and get destroyed.
- The game should remember all the settings now (after closing and opening again).
- Fixed a bug where when a dish was using several bridge stickers in a row it could go in an unexpected direction.
I know there have been some other requests. I looked into supporting more resolutions and decided to put that on pause because it involved a rework of several systems (and lots of QA) and, even if I went through all that process, I couldn't offer a wide range of resolution options.
I'm still chasing a couple of small bugs that, while not game-breaking, are annoying.
As I always remind everyone, there's only one person managing all this, so everything takes quite a lot of time. And I can't tackle every request (even though I'd love to). Sushi For Robots is a finished game and it's not getting anything like DLCs or more levels. That said, now that the game looks stable, my focus is moving toward two things that have been on my mind for a long time.
- More languages. I'm not ready to announce which ones will be added or a date. But it'll probably include 3 new languages.
- There's one feature that I have wanted to add to the game since the beginning, but it's something extra that always had a low priority. I want to keep working on it and make sure it fully works before announcing it (just in case I can't add it). So it'll have to remain a small secret for now.

There's a new tiny post-release patch with changes.
- The hint for "client is too close to the sticker" doesn't trigger when dropping a sticker on the table anymore.
- Winter 8 level has been tweaked.
- Winter 13 level has been reworked.
Some of the data in the winter levels was corrupted and not loading properly. I'll keep an eye on this in case it happens on other levels.
Friendly reminder that there's only one person managing all this, so everything takes quite a lot of time. Patches will fully focus on issues for now. Other updates (such as small QoL features) will be considered later on and based on the feedback received.

- Added a new hint that appears when players try to place a sticker right next to a client.

It's so cool to see Steam celebrate puzzle games. Sushi For Robots is joining the event by making the demo available once again. What's new? What's old? What's missing?
Let's start with the old, this version of the demo has the same levels, why? Sushi For Robots is a small game, it was always meant to be that. A cute puzzle that's fun, interesting, and doesn't drag on for too long. I didn't want to spoil more levels on these demos.
What's new? It's mostly small things. Like a nice end-of-level transition. Or how there's now a button to reset sticker placement. My favorite new thing from the demo is the creative mode, which can be enabled from the settings screen. This lets you play the game without the turn limit. I implemented this a while ago because you can use it to experiment with crazy combinations, or just lower a bit the difficulty.
What's missing? Why isn't the game available yet? It will be, soon! Levels are finished. It's fairly polished. But the audio needs to be expanded a bit more, we're working on something silly (but cool) for the ending, the menu still needs lots of work, the localization system needs to be updated, and the builds need more testing.
