Hello all! These past five months have really been something! You have no idea how much it means to me to see the love and support I've received for The Ultimate Death Clock. It has certainly made an impression on a lot of people and I look forward to that number growing as time goes on. As such, it is my pleasure to announce two major features I've wanted to implement since TUDC's release: Steam Achievements and Streamer Mode! Yes, there are now Steam Achievements! I bet you didn't know there were certain points in the game where you can go a bit off-kilter and mess around a bit? Maybe you might uncover something deeper, or perhaps even a little scary? The Ultimate Death Clock will now also ask you at the start if you want to implement Streamer Mode. Enabling this will skip through some of the more NSFW questions that the game asks of the player. I feel this will help alleviate some (very understandable) apprehension that Streamers may have regarding broadcasting the content of the game. Just as well, this will also be helpful for any Streamers who may not wish to get TOO personal during their broadcast. And I just want to thank all of you again! This project has been deeply fulfilling to put together and I hope you all have fun with it! -Apoptosis Games
Hello Everyone! The Ultimate Death Clock is now on version 1.01, the first post-launch update! There has been an additional line of questioning added that should better accommodate players that may have been adopted into their families. There have also been very minor calculation tweaks with regard to a few of the answers and their impact on the final result. That being said, I have been absolutely blown away by the response and reviews so far for TUDC! To see something well-received that was worked on so hard is rewarding beyond words! Thank you all! If any players have suggestions or feedback, I'm always keeping an eye out for player input! You can also find me on Twitter at @ApoptosisGames - Apoptosis Games
We are down to the final few days before release, and I keep finding new ways to improve prior to that day! With a final bit of polish, and some new different endings based on your result, I am confident this is going to be something everyone can enjoy! Three more days...until everyone gets to experience what is truly The Ultimate Death Clock! - Apoptosis Games
As TUDC gets closer to release, I felt the need to review the art style of the title images and determined it did not fit the theme of the game, so as many of you may have noticed, the art around the store page looks quite different. I daresay, it looks much better. With the initial design and style of The Ultimate Death Clock, I originally created the strikingly red title screen thinking, at least from the beginning of development, the game would take a much darker tone. As development went on, however, things took a bit more of a celestial turn in terms of style. The more the design went this route, the more it seemed to fit so much better with the deeply personal tone of the game. As such, the original title screen did not fit so well with what the game ended up becoming. I can assure everyone, this change was a vast improvement, and we are now only just over a week away from general release! We're almost there!
10 More Days!
As TUDC gets closer to release, I am really going through it for some final polish and cleanup! As in, fixing any typos that may have escaped me (I think I got them all now) and fixing some logical impossibilities regarding answer options throughout the game. I have made them as dynamic as possible so that logical anomalies won't be present and show you impossible answers in relation to previous questions. Over the last year, I've worked hard to try and make this the most entertaining and enthralling take on the death clock concept that players can experience, and words can't describe how it feels to see something you worked hard towards have a release date. I cannot wait to see and hear about your experiences with The Ultimate Death Clock! - Apoptosis Games
Pushed out a small Update to address a couple of minor logical fallacies regarding questions about family.
